I'll have to do that, then. Thanks for the heads up!
Damn. That makes me proud. I figured I was just some asshole on the internet who thought he was chill and reasonable but turns out he's just an asshole. I guess I'm not.
Perhaps I'm just a person who enjoys his privacy, but even if I did have weird fetishes, it's just astounding that people don't think it's weird or abnormal. It really angers me when people just introduce themselves with a list of what they get off to. I'm pretty desensitized to degenerate fetishes and honestly don't care if someone has them or posts them on their profile because there's an audience for it, but I WILL get angry if you let that one facet of yourself take over the entirety of you and you need everyone to accept it. Flanderization isn't good in fiction, and it's horrifying in reality. Just keep it to the places it belongs, sites where it's allowed or meant to be posted, friends, yourself, etc. I don't care. Though in that same sense, I should be allowed to mock it and laugh, because there are plenty of fetishes that are fun to laugh at. There's no malice in that, for me anyway. Fantasy is fantasy, but learn to take a joke and be aware of the fact that your fantasies can be weird/funny/fucked up. Self-awareness goes a long way in my book. Perhaps I'm in between the "don't kinkshame" and the "this is disgusting" mindsets. Weird fetishes that are impossible in reality just don't really get to me. I feel they're not worth getting angry at unless someone is trying to push it down your throat or you see it everywhere or where it's not supposed to be.
Yeah, there's an autistic rambling for you guys. TL;DR - Weird fetishes don't really bother me as long as you don't announce it everywhere publicly, be aware that it's weird, and learn to take a joke.
I don't have issues with what people get off to, really. I'm a pretty tolerant person, I like to hear about other cultures, experiences, religions... I'm very open minded the majority of the time.
But when people have zero self awareness, thats where I draw the line. Putting innocent people into your fetishes, especially kids, makes me extremely uncomfortable. I'm not saying that I'll go out my way to do bad things to the person, I simply go away and cut all the contact.
Shitting yourself in public, grabbing strangers, making inappropriate jokes in public and things like that is a big "nope" in my book. I'm not part of a "fandom", I mean, I'm not part of any culture. I like things, sure, but I don't consider myself X or Y. I'm just a fan of some things. So I never went into any conventions, but I think if someone started to shit their diaper in front of me, I don't know what I would do, maybe call the police? lol
