Prior to this I really didn't know or care about Brandon. I just assumed he was the token SOF guy the TREX marketing department hired to appeal to the mil/vet crowd, but after this Tripp stream I don't like him.

To go through all his bullshit

He says that TREX couldn't find intent with the furry and that you can't call it sexual harassment without intent, he even tells people to google it. and..

but if you think about this for more than five minutes than this should be obvious.

He tries to downplay the images by saying it isn't anything worse than you would see on The Boys on Amazon Prime, and ends by saying he doesn't want to downplay it.

When asked about Lucas' wife not even being considered for a job, he instead derails by bringing up the company events she would plan that everyone loved, while also letting it slip that some people wouldn't attend due to friction with Lucas.

When Brandon was asked about how you could send someone furry porn accidently, even he acknowledges that the story doesn't make any sense, but falls back on you can't prove he did it intentionally. At this point Trip clearly looks away from the camera as he tries not to laugh.

When asked about if the furry was being protected since his dad is an executive at TREX, Brandon dismisses it since the executive in question and Lucas already had a poor working relationship and doing so to spite Lucas only would've added "gas to the fire". Ignoring that the executive in question probably wouldn't want his son fired independent of Lucas.

He reveal Lucas has committed at least two fireable offenses while working at TREX and received slaps on the wrist but refuses to go into detail as he says this level of detail would be inappropriate. Say what you want about Lucas I doubt he's sending people furry porn.

He complains about the way Lucas handled it by going directly to the board about it, and insists that he would of confronted the pervert personally and even beat his ass if it came to it.

He complains about Lucas revealing the situation to other employees at an event after the fact and humiliating the degenerate furry. Beating him up would've been fine but humiliating him is a step too far apparently. Brandon was also clearly not at the event based on the way he was talking about it and doesn't know how Lucas revealed it and it's all second hand information if Lucas was even the one to reveal it.

He goes so far as to say transparency isn't a biblical value, if you remember though he was quick to bring up that Lucas had committed multiple fireable offenses in the past. At this point even Trip had to push back, and Brandon argues that transparency should always stay within the "church", I don't know who the "church" is in this scenario as everyone Lucas told were TREX employees.

According to Brandon the furry wasn't fired but quit by his own accord due to be humiliated by Lucas, but the furry also wasn't going to be allowed to go back to work the following week for his behavior.

Brandon said he has email traffic from the other owner trying to negotiate with Lucas but I get the feeling that they never expected Lucas to call their bluff and quit, and they definitely didn't expect Lucas to air all their dirty laundry.

Pretty much everything Brandon says can be discounted as he wasn't involved as it was happening. He was only given access to emails and investigation documents after Lucas left. He effectively only knows rumors, gossip, and what the other owners have allowed him to see.

The only thing I'm left believing after this stream is that Brandon is deeply involved in the Botkin Church and the degenerate furry's dad is a highly respected member of that community. This all seems to be a matter that Lucas made this behavior public to people outside the community and forced the community to deal with it instead of being able to cover it up.

Watching Lucas' video again, four things really stood out to me.

1. Couples therapy. He mentioned how he was neglecting his relationship with his wife, and they had to go to counseling to fix it. He said that he was 2/3rds at fault. I am always HEAVILY distrustful of marriage counseling, as I have never seen or heard of a story a woman EVER admit they were majority at fault in counseling. The game seems rigged from the start, so why even play? Also why even mention who was majority at fault in the marriage at all, especially since he didn't mention what her 1/3 fault is? Not that it is anyone's business, but he brought it up first.
2. He was always busy with work and couldn't spend time with her. I don't quite understand this, since when they started dating she obviously knew he was running a company and would have to spend a lot of time doing that, so if more time with her was something she wanted, why did she marry him? Maybe it is something he promised during dating (I will work fewer hours and spend more time with you) but I just don't understand how that could happen. Especially, since he now says he wants to have kids, and he is also going to start a NEW company, which will be even harder and take up even MORE time than his role at TREX Arms. Something doesn't quite add up there.
3. She wanted a job at the company. Absolutely nothing wrong at all with wanting to work with her husband, especially since his brothers had their significant others also in positions at the company. However, I don't really see how she couldn't work a, you know, CHEMICAL ENGINEERING job, since that is what she was doing before she met Lucas. Especially since she would easily make well into the 6 figures in that roll, vs doing whatever the fuck at TREX where she wouldn't (unless she got an insane nepo pay scale). Again, nothing wrong with moving to your husband's neck of the woods and maybe being away from most big cities where chemical engineers are based, but I promise you, a woman chemical engineer could get a fucking ChemE job anywhere in the country in a heart beat. That engineering field has one of the lowest percentages of women, and any company would want to hire a woman engineer to boost their DEI score.
4. The Pastor's advice. I am always very cautious of pastors that are very wealthy and have lots of business interests, especially one that had started multiple businesses multiple times, and was at a senior position in a Fortune 500 company. Maybe he completely changed his life and became a religious person after a profound experience, but I find it very concerning when a religious leader has deep business insight. You shouldn't run a church like a business, period.

Having had to participate in a "sexual harrassment tribunal" process from the sidelines more than once...

Unless the company wants you gone what Brandon means is the behavior lacks intent AND a pattern. The furry presumably apologized, a reasonable person (fuck I hate this part of the statues) would be able to infer they didn't do it intentionally or with malice, so what would be required for Sexual Harassment/hostile work place is for them to keep doing it after being told to stop - and presumably they never did.

Think of this way:
Asking the cute secretary out to dinner: Not sexual harassment. This is reasonable behavior. We live in a society, etc.
Asking the cute secretary out to dinner every friday after being told no and you creep her out: Sexual harassment. The behavior is reasonable, there is no malicious intent, but there is a pattern has continued after it has been told to stop/been made clear it is unwanted.
Asking every secretary out to dinner: Likely sexual harassment if intent can be shown due the pattern. There are ton of "it depends" on this, but its unlikely that there would be rise to the level of a punishable offense and handled with non-punitive management action/training unless it continued.
Asking every secretary out to dinner after talking to coworkers about how all women in the office are sluts: There's the intent that was missing from the previous example.
Everyone asking the cute secretary out at least once: Potentially sexual harassment. It would become sexual harassment the minute she communicated to management or anyone in authority that being repeatedly asked out makes her uncomfortable. And management, once aware of this, made no efforts to remedy the situation "Stop asking Susie out for drinks you incels". the lines on this one vary state to state. Faggot shitlib states like NY and CA say "the minute she tells any employee its sexual harrassment" because if that employee doesn't report that Susie is uncomfortable management/EOO/HR, that means the company culture is supporting sexual harassment. More sane states usually require the request be formally made to HR/EOO/her management chain before it becomes sexual harassment
Encouraging others to ask the cute secretary out to dinner so the frigid bitch will flip out and get fired or quit, even if everyone only asks a single time and stops after being told to: Sexual harassment, but really more hostile workplace. The reasonable behavior is part of a pattern intended to harm the cute secretary in the workplace.
Your massive elephantine dick slipping out of your unzipped fly infront of the secretary and she gets a peek: Not sexual harassment, asterisk. Not part of a pattern, no malicious intent, and an accident. But the company would be viewed negatively if they didn't investigate and take some token action, like say limiting your interactions with her if she felt uncomfortable.
Whipping your dick out, slapping it on the cute secretary's desk and telling her "its not gonna suck itself": Sexual harassment. This is what a normal person would consider totally based 100% chad unreasonable behavior, even if it is the first time its happened and there was no malicious intent. However if its a first time occurrence it wouldn't necessarily be fireable or a truly liable event provided the company showed appropriate actions to discipline you and prevent reoccurrance.

Additionally unless the furry porn communication was done during the work day, in a work place, using accounts typically used for work there are additional protections about it being harassment. That is, asking the cute secretary out at her desk or a work function is treated differently than if you approach her at the grocery store.
So in this case if the Furry was texting her from a personal cell phone that wasn't used for work purposes to a personal number, it's not even true sexual harassment its basically an employee dispute (which goes to a hostile workplace if work completely ignores it). But it it was done on company hardware with work accounts/numbers, then its sexual harassment.

I am also assuming Lucas' wife is an employee, because then the bar would be much higher if she wasn't.

Anyway, while we need to not suffer the furry to live, I sort of agree with Brandon/the company here.
the furry made a single mistake without malicious intent. As long as this is an isolated instance the correct response is disciplining the employee, having them apologize, and having them complete additional EOO training. Lucas being butthurt because his wife saw some shitting dicknipples is over reaction and makes me think something else is going on and this is event is the excuse not the reason.

Think of all the boomers who've had their careers ended because they behaved in ways that were seen as culturally appropriate in the 60's and 70's but don't cut it in the 21st century.
