well according to reddit, only parts of the server will be private, with endgame content still connecting to public servers, so there will probably be some of the same AOC style drama, and if people fall out with Mald they'll probably join another guild on a different server.

guild drama is a slow burner however, since it'll likely be contained in game as it's not a content guild. No public spergouts like heartbound or skg, or potential Janny drama.

And the necessity for a separate mod server should be a red flag of the quantity and frequency of this shit happening, as well as complicit obfuscation on acting on that content in the main server and passivity towards moderating properly.

I just found all his killboard shit, Khronos' pilot name, and another pilot named "Zultra Lord" who I know is either a mod or very close with him. The killboard stats include dates and times for crosschecking whatever bullshit comes out of his mouth. And because I spent too much time going through the archives so I'm sunk costing this. Also, it's helpful knowing which aliases those closest to him tend to go by for future reference.

Just go through his pilot sheet, corp history, who he flew with, and you'll find familiar names and very gay references.

In Discord... if you... if you're deleting stuff that's against Discord terms of service, you need to log that somewhere. You don't want to store that on your local machine because sometimes you will get unspeakable things.

There's only... I think one or two categories of things that we don't ever save down records of to prove, we will just put a note in instead. Ummm [unintelligble] we have an external Discord that we would use just for logging the information of the bans. At the moment, Discord does an awful job of logging ban reasons, all that kind of thing. Even when you put it into the notes when you ban them.. Can't put in a link, can't put in an image very well, it doesn't work nicely it's very hard to navigate, having a channel where you literally just put "A Violent Mango was banned for racial slurs" with a screenshot of what it was... don't put that in your main Discord server because Discord have the right to action your server for that stuff in that channel even if it's for moderation purposes. Ummmm you know so... Well we could build something and we might be doing that, watch the space. Something that we're looking to do to get around that to allow us tracking those things but you have to remember that you have to store that but store it in a way that is safe, protected, and functional in a way that you can do it quickly.

Maybe it's because Khronos is a British subject and terrified of having the wrong memes saved to his hard drive but I agree it's peculiar at best. This is really retarded and they're taking moderation way too seriously as if they're able to be audited by the public so need a chain of custody and record keeping on all of their bans.
