Formula 1 Discussion - And favourite driver?

According to Italian media outlets Fred Vasseur is a goner if Ferrari doesn't show improvements during the next couple of races.

/edit: if Ferrari is really that retarded, and I'll give them the credit, they'll have their 6th team principal since winning their last championship lol
They probably are that retarded.

Do leafs even recognize Stroll as their home driver and give him the corresponding warm treatment home drivers tend to get?
I don't know, you tell me. Do Canadians support someone with an obvious IQ of 65 who is only in the series because Daddy literally bought an entire team for him just because of the flag by his name? Did Americans support the barrier-seeking missile just because he happened to be born in Florida? Maybe Euros and nations that have been watching F1 for a long time are more likely to support a driver because of his passport, but nations that have only started getting into it recently like winners, not no-hopers.

To be fair here Canada has been in F1 for a long time. And I think Stroll at first got a decent fan base (also he usually shows some good performances in Canada) Of course acting like a spoiled brat isn't exactly the best of moves. Then again Jaques Villeneuve never managed to ignite Canadians like his father did so there is that

The Bong is correct, they started the session with the testing grid over the front end of one car to test a front wing (Pastry I think) , and ran flowvis heavily throughout the session. Seems to me they told the drivers to push when comfortable but not to do anything over ambitious, given the several times both drivers had full lock at non perilous corners.
Related to that, why do so few other series run races at this amazing course? I know they have in the past. The lack of leaf drivers? Do jeets not watch racing, it seems there were some (too many) of them in the stands?

The only sport they watch is cricket.
Come on now, don't be so close-minded. They also watch kabaddi.

But really, that batch of jeet drivers in F1 went nowhere, and Force India went to the junkyard as soon as its boss went to jail for fraud. Or was if after? I don't remember, but I know Vijay Mallya was/is a slimy fraudster.

Since we are having a triple whammy race weekend (Indy 500, 24 Hours of Le Mans and F1 in Canada) just a small heads up: Cadillac took the front row in the Hypercar group while Ferrari (last years winner) ended in P7, P11 and P13. Mick Schumacher's team ended on P9. Kinda strange how Ferrari who have been so strong in WEC is fumbling this race.
Would love for the Caddies to do well but with how cursed that car is they'll somehow all crash into each other in the first lap. I also don't trust Ferrari, wouldn't be surprised if they were sandbagging to avoid a last minute BoP nerf like what happened to Toyota in 2023.

Yeah therte are rumors fdloating around that Ferrari didn't show everything in Quali. Well let's see how it goes, race will start in about an hour

I love that Kevin Estre is just as batshit in a hypercar as he was in GT3. He's a joy to watch every race.
Seriously impressive charge from the back of the field to the front in under 2 hours, looks like this will be a Ferrari vs Porsche show with Cadillac as best of the rest though I wouldn't completely rule out Toyota, the #8 has been steadily creeping up and the #7 will start flying once Kobayashi gets in. BoP bullshit aside, Toyota really needs to invest in better drivers at this point, they can't keep relying on Kobayashi for everything and they're carrying some serious dead weight in Brendon Hartley and Nyck Debris, the latter getting outqualified by an Aston Martin was just pathetic.
