They went from being a shit tier third world country ravaged by war, with income per capita as bad as any African country, to an industrial superpower who has nukes, put people in space and can manufacture everything from cellphones to ships and planes.

Look at how African countries, who were richer than China in 1945 have fared.

Demographics are destiny. See also India. They were left with a complete legal and administrative system by the Brits, railroads, industry and infrastructure. And the only thing they’re leading the world in today is street shitting.

Even if the Chinese average IQ stats are a bit overblown, which I'm willing to entertain (probably oversampling of coastal Han), the recent skirmish between Pakistan and India proves that even with superior technology supplied by Western powers Chinesium fighter jets can still blow Indian pilots out of the sky like swatting flies. They really are that retarded as both an ethnos and a culture.

Part of it is that you have multiple ethnic groups in China, some with lower and some with higher average IQ. But if you have that many people and a pretty cutthroat academic and political environment you'll end up with the top few percent in key positions with the rest functioning like worker bees.

India's caste system actually stops this from happening. I've noticed equal levels of mind-numbing idiocy among all of these so-called different castes, yet positions of power are regularly handed to the 'better' classes as if there's an actual intelligence difference. This completely confounds the natural process of cream rising to the top, and you end up with extremely arrogant retards in charge.
