There is a version of the future where china or some other adversary makes something like this and it ironically encourages a ton of Gen Z to enlist because they actually find it based and a call to action compared to their bitch made peers.

There's a recurring theme in life where the rest of the world underestimates the insanity of the average American in their propaganda efforts.

The two that come to mind are the nazis depicting americans as "tommy gun wielding criminals" and that japanese saying marines are "pulled from an insane asylum and trained to eat the hearts of their enemies" and in both instances the americans were like "what? They're depicting us as badass?"

I realize they're showing themselves as underdogs who used grit and endurance to outlast an unstoppable foe but I wouldn't be surprised to hear this movie increased US enlistment numbers more than any hollywood film in the last 10 years.
