No it didn't. Iran is violating it and Israel is silent. An apartment building got hit by a missile and 8 people died because Israel followed the ceasefire and weren't hunting TEL launchers as per the agreement

I’ve never understood what it’s even supposed to mean? Like, racial slurs have super obvious origins, that’s why the insult hurts. It’s something everybody can see but you aren’t supposed to actually acknowledge. What even IS a “chud?”

Don't recall the initial Internet usage for it, (though I assume it spawned from Goons, as so much did,) but it was originally from the titular monsters from a B horror flick: C.H.U.D.. Stands for Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers. It's a fairly okay movie. Sequel is garbage.



The amusing thing as others have pointed out, is that it holds zero bite as a label. It's used with gusto, but it's akin to a wimpy man pulling a punch- even if it had hit, it wouldn't hurt. The reason terms like wop, spic, nigger, chink, gook, etc. work is because the target allows the offense AND the terms have real meaning. They're said and bred of hate. "Chud" is a pop culture reference by people incapable of allowing themselves to be actually offensive... just results in an amusing sound.

EDIT: I forgot, the CHUDs in the movie were homeless people mutated by toxic waste that was dumped in the sewers by corrupt city officials. They're victims of evil government actions. What a great thing to model an insult after, bleeding hearts.

As perhaps the only person to ever actually watch the movie, the story is about an investigator uncovering a plot by a corporation and the city government to hide the results of an experiment. The gov and corpo people sacrifice the homeless population to keep the CHUDs satisfied with human meat and stop them from attacking the surface. It's message is rather counter productive to the people that actually use CHUD as an insult. Also, no, it is not a good movie.

This bible was widely disseminated in the US in the early 1900’s where it was adopted by evangelicals and baptists and birthed Christian Israelites and Christian Zionism, and now we find ourselves here just over a century later, with conservative Christianity wholly indentured into Zionism’s service as well as the political entities they control.
