I wonder how star struck Sam was.
He's said multiple times that the CKY videos were a huge influence on him. It's especially apparent on that Ecstasy of Car video where he abuses the fuck out of that QX80.

Those tapes were great. This song still pops into my head from time to time:

Sam Hyde and Nick Rochefort have praised Bam (despite being "a raging mess") in the past for his unique ideas (particularly the aforementioned CKY) and mock Steve-O for being a "cornball clown" who "scalped" Bam.

Back around the time of the new millennia, it was clear in these pictures how seriously Bam took his creativity with his home studio setup (including dual monitors):

Bam had it all: money, fame, wife, kids, but it seems like he just wants to be a degenerate. It's very tiring to observe, especially as someone who has not been nearly as blessed. And this is not even jealousy, I can't be jealous of an alcoholic and drug abuser, that shit's miserable.

Bam had potential, but he had parents who never laid out healthy boundaries and expectations of him, enabled his behavior, and he hit fame and fortune at a very young age. He turned out like a lot of child stars, only he never learned to grow up and be an adult. Its a bad combination of child stardom, soft enabling parents, a "career" where extremes and substance abuse was rewarded, isolation from the real world, and having more money than brains.

Dunn dying clinched it for Bam. There was no hope for him after losing his best friend. I think if Ryan hadn't died Bam could have turned things around and got his life back in order, but Dunn dying gave him an excuse to give up and wallow in his own self-pity. He was always terrified of becoming like his dad Phil: fat. But now he's turning into Phil's Mini-Me. That's how you know he's just utterly given up and will just circle the toilet bowl until life decides to finally flush him.
Dunn would have drank himself to death or od'ed as well imo.

I know we are all quick to shit on Bam but damn dude he had a weird life. Got big doing skateboarding, MTV just throws millions of dollars at him when he is just a kid and the purpose of the money is literally just to be a trash person causing chaos....I mean...it sucks for him honestly. I saw an interview where he was talking about how much they gave him per episode for Viva La Bam, and he basically said he built a whole skate park and hired Metallica to play just to spend the money.
He's actually a great example of money and fame can't make you happy. At one point he had piles of money and he had one of the most popular shows on TV and was both well-known and was somewhat likable. It's never enough for some people. He made a lot of bad decisions and at this point in his life they are all stacked up and the consequences have occurred.

One of the biggest Uno Reverses in the world is how Steve-o is now rather healthy and doing well and Bam is... not. It's crazy to see how much their trajectories have reversed over the years.

If you go through the Bam thread here. You can see it's sooo much worse than him not knowing his age. He went from good friend to the worst possible outcome.

I remember him losing the job on the Jackass movie that was done, and he lost the job because they (rightfully) wanted him to take constant drug tests. Most likely because he was uninsurable for filming. That was how many years ago? It sucks that he didn't get his shit together after that.

Former "Jackass" star Bam Margera
Oh shit?
has appeared on Fishtank.
It's even worse than I expected.

I watched all that shit growing up (Jackass, Wildboyz, Viva La Bam, couldn't get enough) and Bam always gave off Male BPD vibes. He was always ready to fuck with someone else, but the minute someone repaid it or made the joke on him he would throw a fit. It didn't help that he became stupidly wealthy at a young age, and his show only enabled him. Honestly I think Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine are saints for being able to put up with a lot of the shit that they did and still put out good entertainment. Steve-O credits Knoxville for getting him clean. He's a couple years away from 20 years clean btw wild shit to consider.

I did some research into some former Jackass stars and they're either sober, dead, or Bam.

It gives me chills looking at those analog to digital conversion setups. They were such a massive pain in the ass, would run into weird issues all the time and the internet wasn't developed enough to be of much help yet.
