Feminism is when you get your tits out and you have slash on your wall.
Women, specifically large breasted women, are tops like this even comfortable?

"You're a woman if you're female, which is circular".

Funny, I could have sworn the entire trans movement spent the last decades assuring us those were different concepts. Must have dreamed that.
How is that circular? Maybe he thinks that "female" isn't sufficiently defined, but even if there were no women in the world (bear with me) females (non-human ones) would exist, but if there were no females in the world then women would not. It's not circular at all.

This nigga and his whole family are basically national lolcows (or would be if the Chilean left didn't idolize anyone who was sneezed on during the Pinochet regime). His uncle, whose last name the family took rather than keeping their father's surname (Balmaceda), was a literal terrorist, and his first cousin once removed, Maite Orsini, is the biggest whore in the Chilean congress. His dad, as we all know, is a human egg thief who went on the run. There is not a single sane person in that family. I would love it if none of them existed, but unfortunately they're a prominent family with many members in positions of cultural and political power. Trying to act like a British children's author is capable of bullying them and "pretending they don't exist" is just DARVO. They are the bullies.
I'd heard Pedro claim his mother was part of the Allende family, but apparently her cousin (the afore-mentioned terrorist) was Salvador Allende's nephew, which presumably means that her uncle married into the Allende family so she (and her children) are not members of the Allende family.

you know..... The conservatives said that harry potter poisoned kids minds, those kids then grow up and do insane crazy things. Maybe we were too quick to judge and they were on to something?

Nah. They were full of shit then, just like the trannies are full of shit now. The Harry Potter books are little miracles. Not much else can get nine year olds to read 500 page books. I think it is wholesome.

I didn't know this. Pedro Pascal's dad was an ivf doctor who egg-swapped his patients and ran back to Chile when he was discovered. I didn't know the family's political and military ties either. Write-up on the fertility stuff here: https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1995-11-30-mn-8788-story.html
Pedro looks just like his dad but with a tan and a moustache:

They’ve buried the dad’s misdeeds pretty well as they are incredibly heinous behavior from a doctor. Pedro ended up paying off his dad’s outstanding fines a couple of years ago.

A while back they were trying to spin the clan as hard luck political refugees rather than wealthy, white, educated Spaniards who “fled” to Amsterdam and later California. The mother, who was a psychologist, ended up taking her own life. I’ve said it before but I think within the family there’s fear that Lukas will either off himself or has threatened to and that’s why Pedro is so vehement in this idiotic crusade. As Helen Joyce said, the people with a trans kid (or kid sibling) are going to be the last holdouts.

This nutmeg, who claims to be an "RogerEbert.com editor-at-large" and "New York Magazine writer", thinks J. K. Rowling wanted to troon out when she was young; that her supposed "transphobia" is nothing but "revenge".

Regrettably, this is a common talking point in certain circles. They're fully convinced that Rowling wanted to be trans when she was younger. They base it on this part of her essay:

The writings of young trans men reveal a group of notably sensitive and clever people. The more of their accounts of gender dysphoria I’ve read, with their insightful descriptions of anxiety, dissociation, eating disorders, self-harm and self-hatred, the more I’ve wondered whether, if I’d been born 30 years later, I too might have tried to transition. The allure of escaping womanhood would have been huge. I struggled with severe OCD as a teenager. If I’d found community and sympathy online that I couldn’t find in my immediate environment, I believe I could have been persuaded to turn myself into the son my father had openly said he’d have preferred.

Of course, she's talking about wanting to escape gendered expectations, not about a gendered soul that somehow expresses itself through stereotypes:

When I read about the theory of gender identity, I remember how mentally sexless I felt in youth. I remember Colette’s description of herself as a ‘mental hermaphrodite’ and Simone de Beauvoir’s words: ‘It is perfectly natural for the future woman to feel indignant at the limitations posed upon her by her sex. The real question is not why she should reject them: the problem is rather to understand why she accepts them.’

As I didn’t have a realistic possibility of becoming a man back in the 1980s, it had to be books and music that got me through both my mental health issues and the sexualised scrutiny and judgement that sets so many girls to war against their bodies in their teens. Fortunately for me, I found my own sense of otherness, and my ambivalence about being a woman, reflected in the work of female writers and musicians who reassured me that, in spite of everything a sexist world tries to throw at the female-bodied, it’s fine not to feel pink, frilly and compliant inside your own head; it’s OK to feel confused, dark, both sexual and non-sexual, unsure of what or who you are.

However, trannies and their allies love proving that they don't know how to read.

Yeah that is the only thing I thought previously was the “genius” of JK.
Harry Potter overall is a pretty simple rehash of fantasy/mythology/Arthurian/Robin Hood/WW2, with a Jennings and Worst Witch public school lens. Add in some Enid Blyton/Hardy Boys and there you go.

She is a competent writer and it was clever of her to increase the maturity and darkness of the narratives as the characters and readers aged.
Going from a magical but relatable childhood romp, to a coming of age and facing destiny story.

It’s not a work of genius in its story and themes, but it is very clever in its method of appeal.

This isn’t just confined to Trannies in my opinion.
It seems to me that there are a lot of younger millennials, Gen Z and even Gen Alpha, who struggle with a certain level of abstraction.

They often jump to a conclusion that every hypothetical given is actually an admission.

Granted, black and white thinking is more common when a person is young, but I always felt that at least literate people over 15 could understand that a personal reflection involving a hypothetical was demonstrative that the reflector could think empathically.

Again, I thought that an element of Harry Potter, when various characters explain that thanks to the overshadow of fear under Voldemort, certain other characters couldn’t help themselves from behaving in terrible ways, was a decently simple manner of explaining the concept that humans are complex and flawed.
That their standpoints and actions are sometimes a matter of circumstance rather than a deliberate act.

Critical thinking is becoming a lost skill.

I like how he says that transphobes want to kill troons, and then points back to his own tweet where he himself is threatening violence.

And, apparently these people think Rowling controls every miniscule part of her TV productions, to the point where she personally chose to fire a pregnant actress for being pregnant.

Lolcow Jake Alley, formerly Secret Gamer Girl, now Wire Witch Violet, responds to that "one children's author turned genocidal fascist ... apparently out there today doing some stochastic terrorism, encouraging violent men to accost women on their way into bathrooms." This thread will make more sense if you understand that Jake is a master of making little sense at all.

Amazing how one no longer needs to carry out or order the successful killing of a group of people and forcibly suppress any opposition or believe in a natural social hierarchy to be a "genocidal fascist".

I think it's the same "rainbow" flag square (black, brown, teal, pink, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) from the background, but turned 45˚ clockwise and then tiled (four of them intersect at the bottom of the octagram)

By the way, I feel like this one important detail should be pointed out about Stephen Fry cutting off his friendship with JK Rowling.

Stephen ended a decades long friendship with her over mean words apparently.

Yet to this day he is still close friends with Jonathan King, who according to my knowledge, he is a known pedophile and sex abuser, and sex offender, and he still hangs out with him. (Known because King loves to name drop Fry.)

The fact that he'll stop being friends with Rowling over words but stick by a pedo says a lot about him and his priorities.

I think it's a bit insane that she won the suit, considering that being visibly pregnant is a serious hindrance if the role you're playing is that of a woman who's not supposed to be pregnant in the story. What's up with that?

Regardless, I doubt Rowling had anything to do with dropping her from the production. This is like people blaming her for the long-nosed goblins in the HP films. Nobody blames Stephen King for Shelley Duval being abused on the set of The Shining, even though he wrote the book it was based on, but there's (once again) a crucial difference between King and Rowling. Magic vagina powers strike again.
