Ross has said pretty much every single time he has talked about SKG since the initiative started that he never wanted to do this and doesn't think he's the right person to spearhead it but he was so frustrated watching games die and didn't think anyone would ever try to do anything about it that he pushed forward with it anyway.

Nah Ross is the man for it. Just because he’s ugly shouldn’t disqualify him. He knows what he’s talking about and his a genuine nice passionate dude.

I think he’s a good representative, anyone who isn’t a ferret rapist or ferret fucker supporter understood what he meant in his original pitch. Only a disingenuous ferret rapist assumed that SKG meant that developers have to become permanent slaves forever and update games and keep them live for us for the rest of their lives unpaid. Many games after going offline released a quick patch to make it still playable.

And even at that, SKG doesn’t have to apply to MMO’s, it’s more so for all these modern single player games that ONLY work with online connection that really do not need it.
