I checked in on a stream before this drama kicked up, Khronos was playing Dune with Mald. Nothing particularly eventful happened, but Khronos has a habit of interjecting his opinions or responses alongside Malds. It’s slowly becoming the Mald and Khronos Show, and I don’t think Pirate is going to tolerate that for too long.

It's the smugness and the authoritativeness, WITHOUT the overt heavy-handed politics or mental derangement. As much as he lies and cheats, it's not because he's a deluded person with a bucket of mental issues holding him back, it's just because he knows he can gain from pretending to know his shit.

His full cowdom has been a long time coming, and he's managed to skirt by it with a combination of nepo-clout and being just good enough at image control to prevent things slipping out in his default state. People have known for a while that he's a self-righteous twat, but they've never had a chance to prove he couldn't back it up in the eyes of the public.

That is what inspires people to cowtip. He has been, for the last eight years or so, a cow balancing on two legs (secretly supported by a stick). He's gathered a gaggle of people amazed at this side-standing cow, and because he hides the stick well, many don't notice it's just a mirage.

But the people who do notice the stick see that he's faking it. They want to see that stick break so bad, they want to see this guy treated like the fool he really is. So they wanna push through the crowd, finally tip the bastard, It's that final reveal, that moment of catharsis where he's revealed as the useless slug he's been all along, that the cowtippers are desperate to see.

The good news is, starting with la cucaracha in January, it's become clear he's actually not able to back up everything he says. The stick cracked, and he stumbled. It still hasn't completely let him down, but he's wobbling now, more than ever. And even more people know it now, with the youtube community starting to use their sticks to poke at his two-legged stance. The moment of revelation will hopefully not be far away, but with it's arrival still not certain, the urge to step in and force it is stronger than ever.

Mald even spoke over Khronos when commenting on SKG, because Khronos was somehow by divine intervention managing to be more smug than Mald.

He cut him off at one point after admitting he was too harsh and abrasive towards Ross, and people were entitled to their opinions - to which Khronos said "my position is different, I think they're fundamentally incorr-" and bam, Mald went on about something else.

This is uncharacteristic of their dynamic. I feel like I'm watching some perverted reality show.

He said he was sorry to anyone who was upset at his tone of voice when speaking to Ross. It's beyond parody, he's not apologizing for his actions, he's apologizing for people's reactions to his words. Also, he's not apologizing to Ross either, so anybody who isn't living inside their own ass would think he actually feels remorse about what he said, that's the only way to read it.

I also feel like if someone is enough of an asshole, people want to (and do) tip. Like, I doubt anyone admitted to it, but I have no doubt at least a few people sent shit to Keffals during her bombardment of the site.

It doesn't help that if Mald has his way, the industry would end up being worse as a result. This is bound to happen to anyone whose lolcow status is thanks to them wanting to fuck over and fuck with other people.
