I just don't see why you would feel bad for him overall, he has no redeeming qualities. I feel bad for the elementary school kid that grew up to be Austin, I can't feel bad for the guy that lives Austin's life and actively doubles down on it every chance he gets.

He has shouting matches with his parents at best and attacks their property and even them directly at worst.

He breaks the law in a comedic amount of ways, brags about half of it, and never faces serious consequences for it.

He used to break into cars in his local community to get change out of cupholders and we've seen no real reason to believe he respects any of the people in his community.

He gets so much free money from people online for essentially nothing, and not only is he ungrateful but actively spites a lot of them, lashing out if they so much as don't wake up at 4 in the morning to send him more free money when he pings them.

His "job" is frankly worse than being an Indian call center scammer. He hypes people up to lose all their money at casinos, knowing full well that even with insane sponsorship money and juicers that he can't pull ahead consistently, so his viewers sure as hell stand no chance. A call center scammer can make you lose $500 on google play cards or something, his job is to addict you for life to online casinos so you end up 20k in debt like him, just with no army of free juicers to eventually dig your way out. He doesn't even advertise for legal casinos, he knows full well his American viewers will get KYC'd if they win big, because that's one of the few topics where he won't even debate it, he just silently deletes comments when people bring up that it happened to them.

He can't even claim he had no support systems or was forced into this life. His brother didn't fall into the same traps. His parents have money and support Austin with it constantly, he wasn't a poor kid without a father that did what he had to do. When he gets out of jail or rehab or whatever he immediately starts doing drugs and online gambling again, even if he was clean for months. He does not want to change.

He knows how to play the sad loser that you should feel pity for in isolated moments, but that's not who he is. The second someone laughs at him it's bragging and a thousand personal attacks and mother fuckings. If people are casually chatting in his discord but he's not the center of attention he'll lash out and ban them. He spends all day spitting vitriol any chance he gets, and he never cares when he takes someone's money and wastes it, he only cares when they stop giving him more. He's a bad dude from any angle and it makes him a guilt-free lolcow imo.

I think the problem is that he got usead 500 dollar spins, and he cant go back to the old penny slots to get his fix. He would do 1 dollar spins, maybe he would sometimes do a 50 if he was up a lot. He would do some elaborate ritual before clicking the button and quickly bring back down his stake if he lost. Now he just seems to try and speedrun those 20k runs he had at his top. So he ends up gambling half his current balance on every spin.
