That's the imperturbable gaze I mentioned. Unbothered deprives them of oxygen. And if one is truly Unbothered but yet still a bit petty (and/ or competitive), it is absolutely hilarious to watch them gasp for air."Grey rock" is a thing, at least if you are absolutely forced to deal with such a person,
Word.and you've probably fucked up if you're in a situation where you have to.
I don't like being petty, and I do think it is a bit of soul corruption, but on the order of sins, I guess it's about at the level of printing out your résumé at work (kind of dumb and technically arguably misusing company equipment but won't get you fired) as compared to a rager embezzling One Million Dollars, shooting their boss, disabling the fire alarms, and then pouring gasoline and tossing a match on their way out the door, which they lock behind them with coworkers left inside. But where they're impotent and can't do shit to you? I'm going for laughing uproariously while making their faces go red and purple with rage. That shit's hilarious. That's a lolcow.
I've crossed that Rubicon and it can't really be uncrossed.
Right, except for the 4 who did (of 9 contested, but 103 overall). Under 10% contested races and 3.8% of sitting officials unseated is low, agreed! Though 4/9 contested races being lost by the incumbent is fairly interesting (if assumptions about order of list of candidates is correct).Okay so I was totally wrong on the specifics (my search history suggests I herped and derped and mistook Michigan for Minnesota) but I'm pretty sure I was right on the actual results, which is that judges do NOT get unelected, and certainly not for some decision that is absolutely of no concern to people other than Internet weirdoes.
And yes, 100%, like I agreed before, these petty squabbles between ex-lovers are not going to get voters excited or turned against a judge for any reason.
Which isn't to say that Nick's deplorable bodycam footage is not of immense public interest, as a felony-level drug possessor in the community who is exposing minor children to drug-filled debauchery and wasting precious public resources, all while failing to pay his debts incurred as a result of his unlawful behavior, is absolutely of public interest, especially when that felony-committer at one point held a regulated license that comes with certain expectations with respect to the public, the legal system, and the profession.
