But I also don't live in the EU, so I could just be missing something here. And if they don't verify the signatures? Congratulations on supporting the very cause you hate. The ECI has 3 months to validate the signatures to confirm they are EU citizens. So let's say it hits the 1M signatures exactly, but 5% are invalid, the initiative will fail. Even if the initiative passes, there is still like a year of bureaucratic shit they need to go through before legislation can be introduced.
