I don't know why you'd want to READ such industrial quantities of autism, but its there
sir do you know where you are? do you need help getting your bearings?
I have a solution for the gatchas. You roll for the opportunity to lease a png. You get a drop, it has a best before date. If you want to keep your png, you pay an accumulative subscription on everything you want to keep. Call it the Rice Tax and the Asians will be on board.
the funny part is that gatchas are online games and the petition target singleplayer games exclusively, i think they are hooking themselves on the online shit because ross used The Crew as a example.

Kinda late to disprove Jason, he had to do that when he had his and the community's attention. But better late than never, every moment is a good moment to shit on that faggot.
To be real with you, most people involved were never going to read or understand all that in the first place. But it's going to be useful as a reference if someone asks me about who's the code cave guy. Also: vxunderground spotted levels of Mald retardation that I didn't. All that time doing Maldese to English translation, and it didn't even occur to me that it doesn't make sense to remove polymorphic code from a malware sample.

You underestimate how fucking autistic those threads are, much like a weekend coke head doing a 5 foot line of ketamine and dying in 2 minutes.

Imagine 5 whole OPS stuffed full to the charecter limit with autistic shit like this.

THIS SAID, I did see several of these UTTP troll accounts comment spamming on act mans video on SKG, sooooo..... maybe theres a grain of truth to the skitzo?

Not saying the OP of that is mentally well, but the people posting under the name "UTTP" do exist.

the off topic section sneeds its regards.
but the UTTP trying to trollbrigade anything isn't new, they have been on a spam spree recently on a ton of videos from US, they don't touch non-english videos.
no I think you're wrong, the initiative also includes online games.
it was Fagtree who tried to misrepresent it as if the intention was to only cover single player games.

Thus gacha would be included too.
i watched ross video and he mentions it doesn't focus on the MP side is what i meant, my shitty english is at it again and he specifically mentions the crew on his first pirate software reaction video and he gives a passing mention to MP as a side effect to having the peition passed on because devs will simply not arse themselves trying to engineer things for MP and SP and will just bundle everything with a EOL pack or not go after private server emulators like it happened before, i just finished watching the second where he mentions some moist critical guy and how good his reaction was towards the drama since it exposes PS but it doesn't really pleases him to see the bashing however it's on pirate for not choosing to have a discussion over this, also calling this whole thing retarded and shilling against it too.

This is a complete misunderstanding that Mald also spread. The initiative does not differentiate between singleplayer and multiplayer games. If you think about it, why would it? Is it ok to destroy a game that people paid money for simply because it's meant to be played by multiple people? From the FAQ on the website:

Q: Do these efforts impact single-player or multiplayer games?
A: Most, if not all countries have no separate laws regarding governing the sale of video games based on whether they are single-player or multiplayer. The primary distinction under the law is typically about whether the games were sold as an indefinite purchase, or as a subscription service with a clear end date. We do not see it as productive to introduce new laws on this distinction where none currently exist, thus, this would impact both game types. From a technical standpoint, multiplayer games can often be preserved with a comparable amount of effort as single-player ones; it's a deliberate decision by publishers when they choose not to. Furthermore, an increasing number of video games blend both single-player and multiplayer modes together, making this distinction too nebulous for many titles to have effective protections if the two modes are treated separately.

Ross also talks about this in this FAQ-video (timestamped).

"If this includes live service I'm dropping the mask-"
I have to admit... A year ago when the fag said that I got extremely blackpilled, A shit ton of people also realized this fraud was using his [hackerman/furfag/blizzard employee] pedigree to shit on anything or anyone that inconvenienced him and at the time I really didn't see a way out.
And then, Dire Maul happened.

But anyway I do have to ask, how many gachas have a "real game" underneath all the time-walls, pay-walls and gambling?
For years what I thought all gacha games were basically autoplay card combat or bigger number wins type shit like this:
pay more.webp
But then I learned that some do have real gameplay underneath like that Devil my Cry mobile game that seems to be a phone DmC bastardized by gacha mechanics, if a game like that goes EOL and can be reworked into a normal game just tweaking it so you unlock characters instead of gambling for them it could be fun, short since all the artificial time/pay gating would be gone... but fun.

I'd play DMC king of combat or whatever in a state like that.

Gacha games where u dont need to spend money to actually be good do exist
Punishing Gray Raven (currently you get alot of free S-rank frames. and a selector ticket, so you can get Manami: Starlight Trail, a free Lucia: Crimson Cleave and etc. which u can speedrun most content in like 10 seconds or less.)
Wuthering Waves
Uma Musume Pretty Derby

actually Uma Musume is one of those games which gacha gamers would say is "roguelike"

There are a small selection of gacha games, or those games with an energy bar, that do have fun game-loops to them. I've used modified APKs of the ones you actually can do that with, and had some short-lived fun on them.

However most of them don't have those things, because its rarely ever necessary to bring the wales. A gambling addict isn't drawn in by a compelling story or well executed game mechanics. Marketing and design are the hooks.

It's a shame what the mainstream gaming industry turned into after the 2000s. Not even trying to oldfag right now, hyper-capitalist greed has devoured lots of good franchises, and when we do see them recently it's zombified nostalgia-mining wearing the skin of better days.
So has anyone figured out why this malding faggot wants to kill games? Is it because hes trans?
Yeah probably. His troon-hole is sore from all his customers pounding it early this year when they realized his game was never coming out.

The theory a lot of people have is his ties to a his friends publishing company. They're currently involved with a live service game. Jason swears he wanted to work for free, but he had to take a minimum wage job instead so it wouldn't be against federal law (even though he's getting 25% proceeds from DLC towards his rescue tax fraud).. nevermind that he's more than capable of just fucking volunteering. Wow problem solved!

But really, this is just like when he got caught cheating playing Animal Well. Giving all this extra information that nobody fucking asked for, about the pay rate and him wanting to not get paid at all is just suspect. He overshares when he lies, like most people, and he's simultaneously too vocal and too stupid to not tell on himself half the time.

SoggyCereal (who you might remember as the paid shill guy who batted for Mr. Beast when he was getting shit on by Dogpack 404 and the rest of the Internet) has come out with a video on the SKG and Mald situation.
This is slightly significant since Soggy is Dutch (with the WORST fucking accent I think I've ever heard out of any foreigner), and he's shilling the initiative in the description, so there's a slightly higher chance he has more viewers in Europe to sign the initiative.

dude imagine eventual eos and theres a new updated offline version of pgr for 10 dollars with all the content and events that would be kino
also you didnt include my favorite gacha limbus in that list :(
honestly i havent played Limbus yet, i should.
but i dont have as much free time.
i'll download it today given you say its your favourite.

lets give it a try.

Actually SOME gacha games should be held in permanent offline mode. given its insane number of content and replayability
>Arknights
>Dragalia Lost (maybe)
>Alchemy Stars

Sir, another video of a game dev saying jason is FULL OF SHIT has hit the tower.

Oh you think thats bad, if you search for the title UTTP with "title only" theres actually like 5 threads by that person with just as much skitzo posting.

I've missed a lot of posts, but for what it's worth I can vouch for Jack Vani's experience and specific expertise all things #SKG related, Including but not limited to:
  • Enterprise publisher and 3rd party vendors API calls
  • Different API implementation, and API design in future proofing playability despite service integration
  • IP acknowledgement as an EOL stipulation
  • Server hardware emulation for offline compliance and community hardware emulation for online communities
  • Multiple executables depending on the player's desired game functionality
  • Precedence in the practical cases of all the above having been done before
  • OS portability
Most importantly, and what's glossed over a lot (rightfully so, as it will change the way games are made):

This is NOT an engineering problem. It's a HUMAN BRAIN problem. You will be using new tools and restructuring new things. It is a necessary innovation. Other industries do it. Why don't we?
