None of Jin's points were ever contested and remain valid, Frank is a solved puzzle now, Fatty is played out, Burt can only exist in a state of confusion because of Season 3 and he fakes it now because its his gimmick and Dave's big thing was being a chill guy who rolled with the punches as they brought in even crazier homeless people to contrast against him. Jin going straight for the throat talking meta about how phoned in the season may end up being probably struck a bit too closely because it really was being phoned in harder than Jin expected.

Letty was good but the rest would have been godawful, perhaps it was best to just euthanize the season early rather than let it linger.

Deleted my post you're replying to cause late. I agree that they should be using new people for freeloaders. Someone said in a comment that it feels more like a celebrity guest line-up. Still, I think Burt and Dave would have been fun late stage characters. Dave is more of a background guy anyway.

Burt would be great for Blood Games 2 especially if Jon is allowed back.

  • Show is starting a bit earlier than intended, estimated date 07/19 - 07/27. Originally it was going to start 2 weeks later but with S4 dead Greg bumped it up.
  • Cast is Zac (Creature's friend, he was briefly on Streamstars), Trish, Blacksmith and Blacksmith's Wife
  • Frank will be there as long as the usual Greg orbiters who were there for seGREGated
  • "If you liked the vibe of Season 2, it's gonna feel like that" keep in mind Greg's personally-experienced vibe of S2 is wildly different from what we all saw
  • Greg says conGREGated will be more "story driven" with characters and "improvisational theatre"
  • Giant painting of Greg as a WW1 fighter pilot "this is gonna be a very big part of the set design"

  • Greg's goal is $15k-$20k of revenue from this show (seGREGated did $13k according to him)

  • Bex "is willing" to come one the show to do a DJ set, in a past stream Greg showed a Google doc with conGREGated ideas that had "Bex rave" as a donation goal
  • Every contestant will use the confessional once a day
  • Focus is more content than the social game
  • Planned start time is noon CST on the 19th
  • Planned daily hours for content are 12pm - 2am (CST), strict bedtime at 2am.
  • Greg goes out of his way to shit on Mauro and Jon, he still doesn't like them :story:
  • "over 70 ideas" for challenges for the show
  • Greg's original plan for the cast was Kato, Tai, Creature and Xavier
  • The winner gets a guaranteed $500 and it will go up if the show does well
  • "I'm getting people directly based off of entertainment value and nothing else" - Greg

  • The show is on a soundstage and they have "all the papers" so Greg is not worried about the show being shut down

  • Confessional confirmed, every contestant has to use it once a day
  • Main inspiration is S2 for the "vibes" which I think he means aesthetics and lots of drinking and Bloodgames for the story and character stuff

Even before S4 started Greg had Blacksmith and Blacksmith's Wife penciled in for conGREGated. The plan was to do it during the 3-week break between S4 and BG2 so as to not conflict with anything FT related. Not saying this proves BG2 is still happening but even when BG2 was definitely 100% the plan they were still booked for conGREGated.

Alternate idea. Frame out the house inside a warehouse, do all the internal drywall, and finishing but don't do the exterior. This would allow for easy wiring of the house, as well as easily being able to set up little trap doors for the production to insert things into the room from the outside. You would have to make it very VERY fucking clear to contestants that they cannot kick holes in walls that are on the outer boundries of the house.
