The most annoying thing about people calling anything they don't like Gamergate is that the only connection is usually invested people who genuinely care about whatever cause they're promoting. It comes with the subject of the petition. If it was about retirement age, or something old, decrepit people would want, then there would be virtually no risk of cheating votes. Since it concerns a digital matter that matters most to young, tech savvy people, there's more risk of them doing whatever it takes for it to pass. Kind why you don't see armed police patrolling White countries' streets, but you see cops armed to teeth everywhere in niggertowns.
