Something that really blows my mind is how stupid these people are for refusing to take accountability. It HAS to be mental illness, right?

I remember talking to some folks about all the drama going on with idubbz and Creator Clash 3, and I said "Ya know, he'd still get plenty of deserved hate, but man he would save so much face if him and his wife came out and just admitted to fucking up."

I feel much the same about Mald. He'd still get tons of shit, but if he took 15 minutes to just take a singular L, this whole shitshow would have been so much smaller. Same with his whole Hardcore WoW shitshow.

Again, not defending him or saying he wouldn't get hate, but he would have SO much more ground to stand on if he ate one single piece of humble pie, admit he fucked up or said something that was out of pocket, and moved on.

I can be plenty of a stubborn little autistic myself, but I can't imagine double, triple, QUADRUPLING down if my stupid ass was caught with my hand in the cookie jar for the world to see.

Plenty of celebrities understand it too! They get into some stupid controversy, make a statement owning up to it, and move on. This isn't rocket science.

I think systemd or whatever other init you have sorts that out pre-boot. But with GPUs it's an entire different situation (BIOS tweaking). Come to think of it I can't remember the last time I entered BIOS, even after switching video cards.

It depends entirely on time, place, and culture. If you're Scandinavian or Germanic (which Jason obviously is not), having a name where "Thor" or "Tor" is a component would not be that strange. There are plenty of people who have had other mythological names like Baldur for instance, names like Torsten or Hafþór aren't so strange for a German or an Icelandic to have respectively.
I think what makes it worse in Jason's case is that Thor is not his actual middle name. He tacked it on it decided to use it as his alias, to make him seem more cool. This is because he's a con-man.

If I were to change my name to "Karlheinz Dietleif Gotthard von Wolfenstein", and I also acted like a massive pretentious faggot all the time, it would be completely reasonable to mock me for it. All the same if I changed my name to "Kurosawa Yamato", because I am not Japanese nor do I live in Japan. Jason, from what I've seen, looks like he has some flavour of Asiatic admixture, so deciding that he should call himself "Thor" to do his con-man bit is looks even worse than it otherwise would.
Maybe it's just a Starcraft refrence?

Having a weird name only becomes a detriment, if you decide to act either like a huge faggot or a loser. Jason does both while killing ferrets and defrauding gamers.

Yeah, he was given the opportunity to admit he was wrong during the therapist thing. Dr. K said something like "imagine you say 'My bad,' how would that make you feel?" and Mald responded with "I would never say 'my bad' because I'd be lying" AKA "I'm never wrong, even when I am." He's not just a narcissist, he's so fucked in the head he failed the therapy equivalent of the breakfast question.
