Jim admitted on one of his streams that Sargon basically recovered from being a punching bag during the prime of the Internet Bloodsports era, Sargon has been making something like 150k-200k a year from subscribestar/patreon, he's probably doing a bit better financially with the mild success of Lotus Eaters and it's many paywalled series.

Sargon's problem back then was that he got high on his own supply, and thought he could flip a fairly successful gig as an Internet culture war critic into a full blown political career. He started talking about how he was gonna save the West (cringe), while claiming Jim is a loser for just wanting to laugh at dumb shit on the Internet (you know, like KF does).

Jim was 100% right to laugh at him, and he was proven right when Sargon's political career cashed and burned right out of the gate.

Now that Sargon is back to doing what he's actually good at, his situation appears to have stabilized. Go figure.
