I’ve taken my nieces and nephews to events for things. Bluey is the big thing. The amount of skeevy Bluey adults make me constantly on alert. If it’s not for them they get angry at the people it’s for. The Bluey adults are weird alphabet people, but the furries/ lolicons are the same. In content that’s on the edges of their interest they get angry when it doesn’t pander to them.

Bluey is so much weirder than the bronies ever were because when I was into MLP 13 years ago it was because the plots were like, high fantasy shit. Bluey is much closer to the kids shows that I used to watch when I was six (while my sister was into the bland MLP that came before Friendship is magic.)

I feel like there's also a disconnect that can't let them shut the fuck up. The thing I’ll say is I can kind of understand having a weird crush on a crush from a character from your childhood. It’s weird and some arrested development shit, but I’m not gonna play psychoanalyst unless it gets into depraved shit where you spend money commissioning porn or forcing a prostitute to play dress up with you.

I once read a book called Interview with a Vampire. In it, a vampire named Louis turns a little girl named Claudia into a vampire to stop her from dying of the plague.
