You can add hair into a box braid to make its overall length longer and have it look seamless if you know what you're doing. The linked video uses bright blue hair just so it's easier to see for beginners, but obviously you'd just color match the added hair if you wanted it to look as if it were all your own.

something that kind of bothers me with Autumn’s works is that her line art often becomes super blurred because she uses a pixel brush. It makes her art look rushed and gives off an almost AI-ish quality (especially with the amount of inconsistency with hands and small details). I think DJ’s face shows her very shoddy line work.

Also, the colouring, similar to her line art, looks very lazily down with parts of it not being coloured in properly. It could also be because of how sketchy the lines are it’s hard to figure out where to put the colour, but it still looks horrible the closer you examine her art work.

It's been pointed out before (I think she admitted it herself even) but her sketches are also her final linework, and her twitter stuff was also really obvious fill tool jobs. Honestly I'd like to see her stream just once just to see her actual art process.

This coming from someone who doesn't mind pixel brushes/rough sketchy stuff and think it can be done well, but Puppy's still pretty sloppy with it and compensates with filters.
