This answers something I've been wondering for a while: is Nikki just some poor girl who attached herself to the wrong man and is suffering the consequences of it and choosing to stick by him, or is she a similar type to Patrick? I think this shows it's the second one. Cussing out a cop over a ring camera who is there to check if you're alive is the peak Patrick thing she could do.

If she didn't start off like Pat, the years of exposure and stress from his antics have worn her down to being just like him all the same.
