I've never been a Snyder hater and I think I've even posted before I didn't get the hate for his movies. That said I was semi hoping Gunn's movie would be good, even if I AM a certified hater of his work, but the amount of redditor level comments I have seen on this movie made me embarrassed to be even a little eager. honestly superman is right up Michael Bay's alley, its insane that they're turning superman into a liberal hero when everything about his background is super republican: He's from a small town, he's the son of farmers, and he's adopted. IRL he'd be extremely conservative.

If comics still had integrity, it’d honestly be a good start to Lois and Clark’s dynamic if they’re political opposites. The pieces are there, Lois, the “modern woman” and Clark, the old-fashioned country boy.

I always liked Kidder’s Lois laughing in his face when she hears the “Truth, Justice and the American Way,” line, in a single scene, that pre-Superman status quo is established.

they have plenty mobsters in Korea so Helena Bertinelli would not be out of place there except the Italian name. Who cares if she's American. Plus this makes it more likely to be a hot babe instead of what we got with, say, the unreleased Batgirl. I maintain that Jor-El should always be played by a past their prime iconic actor. Gunn’s already used him as a space dad but Kurt Russell would’ve been my pick for a modern Jor-El.

Brando is one that shouldn’t have worked, especially with how far gone he was at that point but it’s still the parts of the film where even now, my watch groups go silent. Best take on the Fortress /Jor-El AI ever.

The 70s humour really works in the 78 film’s favor, it actually feels like Silver Age Supes is running around in our real-life 1978 and his mere presence is dialing up the wacky by a degree.

The entire production is in Korean, they say they barely speak English in the description. That is why I am honestly confused who this would be for as this is clearly an international series, set in a universe that is for an English demographic. Will Korean people care about Huntress? Such a weird and baffling decision.

They technically did with LEGO DC Supervillains, which is by far the best game in that not really quadrilogy.

I think they trapped themselves by starting with Batman, so now the series had to be Batman themed to keep brand recognition. It was pretty obvious with 3 how much that initial branding was holding them back, and Supervillains really showed they should have left it earlier with how much of a rollercoaster that game is for DC fans.

Hopeful that we will get another entry, even if it is apparently Bat themed again (going off rumors). Supervillains was such a joy, but I still think they have areas to expand.
