Parents coming to visit him? I imagine he'd still stream once a day (probably the night stream) at least. Pretty much anything that involves him being at home seems very unlikely to me.
That was my first thought too, but I think he might avoid it because he wouldn't want people to know his parents are around because detractors would criticize him for spending X hours begging instead of hanging out with his parents who he hasn't seen in years and flew in to see him because he couldn't be bothered to fly out to them. I don't think they'd like, purposefully make their presence known or anything, but there's a good chance there'd be at least one or two interruptions, or the possibility of them being overheard.
I don't think their pages are open for random friend posts and also when people have cancer/old people sickness they often don't tell anyone and people don't post about it on their FB pages if they do know.
(In all seriousness parents and sickness is a cunt. Even though people hate DSP I wouldn't wish this kind of stuff of anyone. I don't want to even joke about it regardless of the nature of this thread and if it so that kind of stuff god speed to his family)
I agree that parents getting sick, even if your Phil, sucks. And if I thought they were really sick, I wouldn't joke about it. But the only "source" people have for Linda being on death's door is from Phil himself. Who, if I remember right, has alluded to his parents being on their death bed since the Leanna days. IIRC, when pressed for details, he even admitted at one point that nothing was wrong, but because they're "so old" they can kick the bucket at any point. Keep in mind, I think they were both in his 60's when he implied that.
I mean, older people getting sick is definitely a thing that happens, and even perfectly healthy/younger people are still mortal and can be involved in fatal car crashes or whatever, but as far as I know, there's 0 evidence outside of Phil insisting for years now (always when trying to elicit sympathy) that Linda has weeks to live. Add onto that, I don't doubt there are dedicated dentractors who are constantly refreshing whatever websites list CT obituaries.
I also don't think he'd go radio silent. Like, if he was too distressed to stream, I could understand that, but I feel like he'd be bitching about funeral arrangements and how the wake had dry turkey sandwiches or something. Or if she was sick, complaining about the doctors making them wait for test results or the like. It's just weirdly out of character for Phil not to complain about something/overshare details about whatever he's complaining about, so I can't imagine why Phil would go radio silent the one time he actually has something to justifiably bitch about. That's why I think whatever he's doing is fairly mundane and he's just trying to keep up the facade of being so busy working 31 hours a day that he can't ever take a break to even step outside, or that detractors are constantly harassing him and ruining his life that he couldn't dare go more than a day or two without streaming.
