It's a huge win for Nick. Possibly the greatest accomplishment of his life. He managed to make up lies and call someone a child molester and get away with it for the low, low price of an entire house, his law license, his reputation, a couple felony cases, and now he's picking up trash by the side of the road or whatever.

If he hits the trifecta of also knocking out Aaron's HRO, his ego will go through the roof even though his entire life is shit now.

False.

Monty handled this about as intelligently as any person could have. For one thing, he started off by hiring a lawyer. Said lawyer fended off an appeal by Marc Randazza, and cost Nick hundreds of thousands of dollars. Nick is not getting that money back.

Monty got way farther along in this than anybody initially thought he ever would have. Monty had a case. Monty is not David Stebbins. The Cokestream meltdown that ended up with Nick in handcuffs two days later was also largely Monty's doing.

Nick won this because he's richer than Monty. Richer thanks to his mother's Petrofac wealth. Simple as.

Nick picks on people poorer than him, but plenty of the people Nick picks on are actually smarter than him. They're usually WAY better people too.

Now Aaron? Different story. I thought Nick's W this month was gonna be Aaron's HRO being denied (which I still think might happen, so I'm not holding my breath we're getting any good news this month).

Where was this confirmed? I thought it was just a guess. Guesses have a way of turning into canon around here, unfortunately.

If it weren’t for Monty we wouldn’t know Nick Rekieta gave his young daughter cocaine. Nick is the eternal loser from this situation forever. Hats off to Monty.

If you mean Monty and Aaron, I get the argument. Nick punches down. His enemies are deeply flawed and lack his resources; he knows this.

Notice that he's never called Sean or Mindset pedos. (Though he's come close with Andrew.) That would be a battle though they'd probably ignore him as Kurt has done (and, yes, he's basically called Kurt a pedo).

Mindset would definitely ignore him. He seems to avoid punching down out of principle (not that he won't cover people who are beneath him, if it's newsworthy and it interests him he'll do that, but I mean, he won't "attack" them, just cover it), and with Nick, yeah, he sees that as punching down.
