People should stop assigning agency to a collection of high-dimensional matrices used for word association. The AI didn't "go rogue," it just did what people asked it to do. Even "Mechahitler" comes from someone's post. Can't wait for more hand-wringing about muh alignment and muh safety because someone asked a language model to write a fanfic.

I agree. It’s a computer based system that responds no differently than using a Google search algorithm and even when it doesn’t have a source data it makes up answers to satisfy the user input. It’s a fun tool you can use to supplement things, not at all skynet.

And that’s why Will’s meltdown over this is so hilarious.

He's like a dumpy, nonthreatening, yet surprisingly luscious tar baby. People engage with him, but he just rolls around on the floor moaning "nooo don't fuck my pussy!"; if it weren't so funny, it would be a total waste of time. He has the laziest "progressivism is correct because it is" viewpoints, and doesn't bother arguing them because he knows he's right because he went to school. I skimmed his Substack and it's just all vague, empty whining in line with every other crybaby on Twitter. He'd be totally unremarkable if he weren't the absolute apex Redditor spam-replying "lol ur a klansman tho", he's kind of like a weird Brianna Wu x Fatrick Tomlinson hybrid the way he engages on Twitter but tries to sound intelligent in the process.

What an entertaining cow and amazing thread. Why will is always alone?
No friends, no bf or gf, I didn't even see any of his staff members posing with him for a pic, also no pets, although I might overlooked.
Weird guy overall, very Patrick S. tomlinsonesque behavior, but even he has some kind of offline hobbies/activities and a "wife" for companion.
Moviebob also hangs out with either collegues or family. Will is all alone, it seems the only thing he has in life is X.
Also why one of the articles claiming he is an attorney? Isn't he is some kind of sociologist?
