Yup. Politics have no place what so ever in open source outside of issues directly connected to software and open source. (and that is a narrow and select range of things.. crap like who you get hard over, your choice of gender LARP or contemporary racial politics etc.. are about as far from it as one could possibly imagine or get) Same with business and work in general! People who try to bring politics into work should be fired for disruption and distraction, as well as making it a much more toxic and stressful place. God do i hate people who do that shit. They always tend to be the completely unthoughtful, least respectful kinds. In the best of cases they simply don't care if half or more of their fellow employees don't agree with the political positions they are demanding the company takes/supports/enforces. In the worst, looking for those who dare show signs of disagreement or neutrality. And in clown world, they are usually successful at getting other people fired.

Everyone. His parents. The pastor the victims told and who did nothing. His sexually abused (maybe trafficked) wife flaunting about how he gives money to the homeless and works for this "Ubuntu", that she doesn't know anything about. He was in he navy, so the military and the court. And we should feel sad for his mother having to testify on court. He is just SUCH a good and amazing person... just that he had an oopsy and raped and tortured his sisters and other children for multiple years.

The judge said that all adults around the victims failed them.. yeah... that is correct... BUT it seems that this is being used as a extenuating cause... IF the parents wouldn't have failed, you wouldn't have raped them for so long or something.
The judge is just the next Adult who failed them, giving him a slap on the wrist.
The prosecution as well. If the parents have most of the responsibility for this, why not prosecute the parents for prolonged child abuse?
