For me periods were mentioned as something can start sometime within this time window. I think girls already know that they're going to get boobs and curves during puberty. She's a grown ass women in Canada, not a teenager trying to figure out how periods work or a woman stuck in some 3rd world shithole that doesn't have money or access to basic feminine hygiene products. If you know you bleed a lot and that you work in a place where you don't get frequent breaks, you make sure you're using the right products to get through the day. You wear more absorbent pads or tampons. It's not that fucking hard. If you're one of those super bleeders, then you wear both pads and tampons, or period cups or period underwear, there is something for EVERYONE no matter what your preference is.

And failing that, if for some reason you just absolutely have to go to the bathroom to change your pad/tampon, there is nothing wrong with being a fucking adult and saying "Excuse me, I have to use the restroom." What is your boss going to do? Say no? I've had some terrible bosses in my life, but not one of them have ever denied me a bathroom break, no matter how swamped we were with work or on a crazy time crunch.

I roll my eyes at Ellen saying we NEED period products in the bathroom. Girl, you are a grown ass woman with children. You know your period comes once a month, every month, and has been for decades! By now you should know to keep stocked up on tampons and pads. Most women do this without issue, yet for some reason Ellen acts like this is too hard and unreasonable to ask of her. In the rare event that your period comes on suddenly and you don't have anything for it, toilet paper works in a pinch. It's not comfortable, and it's certainly not ideal... but it works, and I think almost every woman has had to do this at least once.
