So, taking some time to think about this, I want people to actually tell me: what do you think will realistically happen if the list actually get released?

First off, publicly releasing the list would make any sort of actual investigation and punishment in the court of law impossible. The people on that list are the rich and the famous. These are people with the money, power, and connections to basically avoid any kind of actual punishment. But assuming that didn't happen, you're basically going to make it impossible to prosecute anyone on the list because the list would be broadcast internationally and predispose literally everyone into assuming that anyone pulled in front of a judge with their name on the list is going to be guilty. This leads to pretty much the only option being... uh, public lynchings? So... go get 'em, tiger.

Basically, what I'm saying is it's hard to get mad that your car won't start when you know you can't get it out of the fuckin' driveway.
