Sam Hyde

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I find Sam funny but am able to admit when he fucked up. I don't guzzle his cum and think he's never missed a shot he took.

My reason for being here is I am infinitely amused:

  • by autists who can't read social cues accusing others of being autistic
  • "muh kayfabe" retards who think knowing what kayfabe means is a mark of intelligence and need to use it as much as possible.
  • Sam Hyde fanboys who think the guy has never missed
Just don't know how you can look at two dudes literally gritting smiles through their teeth patting each other on the back roughly and fake-smiling about "what a great guy you are" and think that's a legitimate expression of admiration between two men.

It seems clear to me that Sam just assumed Harland was a HOLDS-UP-SPORK-PENGUIN-OF-DOOM kinda guy and decided to blow up the podcast.

And it's been mentioned a few times but if anyone cares for a laugh look up Harland's appearance on Joe Rogan itself or the Redbar coverage of it (if you like Redbar which I'm sure everyone here hates him lol). He unraveled Joe in a similar fashion and really exposed him for being an unfunny douche with a stick up his ass. Just funny to see it happen to Sam.
The amount of people in this thread seething about Sam taking an L is mind blowing to me. This thread is an anomaly for me because it seems to harbor a bunch of people that thinks that Sam Hyde can do no wrong? Kind of unprecedented for a kiwi thread.

Edit: Case in point. Hello wigger.

No actually, Charles got blackout drunk on stream in turkey and started literally crying and saying a bunch of shit about Sam (lots of gay accusations) but didn't even hint at marky. He said some crazy shit too so it's interesting he didn't bring up marky.

Available here if anyone wants to watch this drunk schizo meltdown. It's both interesting and uncomfortable.

I've liked both of these guys for a long time, and it's weird seeing some people act like Harland is some kind of bad guy during that episode. It's just a troll trolling a troll when the latter troll knows the game but is outclassed. Sam didn't hang with it from the start and was embarrassing from the shoehorned "Jews amirite, reminder that I'm based" quips when Harland would serve him the ball, and eventually the physical comedy that seemed to be a literal flipping of a table that chess could be played on.

At the same time Harland's not the type of guy for whom it this feels like it's that big of a deal to do this kind of thing on his show. To me it's not like doing it on Rogan's show or someone where the energy is different and where it would legitimately be a likely mainstream career dream ender. Nick on the other hand probably just had years taken off of his life based on his reaction.

He did address it and unfortunately I can't remember when or find a clip but he for sure 100% did when the Soph video started gaining traction. It was also when he was still taking superchats directly from fans on one of his streams reviewing user submissions. Chris, who is notoriously bad at reading out loud, let the question slip passed and Sam was like, "fuck it, I'll address it. Marky was a fan of mine she used to work with me. She had nosebleeds which is how she first got attention from the freaks on 4chan in the first place. We posed for a picture and that's what you see in the meme."

He didn't deny/address having sex with her or anything but did "clear up" the allegations of him beating her and giving her the bloody nose. The photo was also released the exact same period when he was being memed for choking women because he took pictures of himself pretending to choke girls at parities. The meme was "the weak should fear the strong." One of earliest SH memes. So there's some added context.

I realize not having the link to back it up basically means I could just be lying but I don't really care and I know that Sam's word also isn't good enough for his biggest haters do there's not really a point anyway. Just posting what I remember.
I do vaguely remember the clip you're talking about, It clears up things a little I guess, but there's also not really enough evidence in either column to really push me towards guilt or innocence on the issue. That said he get's really squirelly when he's put in a position where he THINKS somebody might ask about more seriousnthingd, like in the Idubbbz Basement Tapes, or in this Harland podcast, so I remain a little bit skeptical about what kinds of skeletons he has in his closet.

In any case, I think Ep 5 was Kino, but he looked like a really big pussy getting mogged by the fat Stoner guy from Sorority Boys.

i dont want to dig up the Marky talk for the millionth time but i SERIOUSLY doubt that clip exists. i watched almost all of Sam's streams, and have followed all types of talk about him across different platforms, including snarkers, and have never seen or heard of this clip. in fact, i thought it was largely known that the only time Sam ever addressed Marky was through text in those Soph DMs. if that clip existed, it would have made the rounds by now. to my knowledge he has never publicly uttered the name Marky.

Here’s Redbar’s analysis of when Harland made Joe Rogan mad. Mike's comments at the beginning are pretty applicable to what Sam encountered.

"Okay so Joe Rogan had Harland Williams on ... I think I remember hearing him on Adam Corolla years and years and years ago during the height of Corolla's podcast and going 'oh, this Harland is kind of funny.' You know, he's kind of good at this and he kind of has a mean bone in his body a little bit. I love discovering this, I see this with Tim Heidecker where these guys, they're pretending that it's just, you know, random comedy but it does kind of have like a mean spirit to it.
...
Harland Williams goes on Joe Rogan and you're thinking... What, is he gonna just play it straight and kind of just talk to Joe about, you know, real stuff? Or is he going to run bits?"

Is this part of the serious plot twist during week 2? (For those unfamiliar the wiggers promises this season of fishtank would have the biggest plot twist ever)

Legal troubles with the show and the ungraceful downfall of Sam Hyde as he slowly flips over the studio table of some elderly gents show who does 2 hours of adreads for fucking Wix.

Nigger has fucking Wix as a sponsor.

I mean whether it exists or not is kind of irrelevant to me at this point. The waters have been muddied on the MQ so thoroughly, I really don't know if I'd accept anything anyone in either camp puts forth. At the end of the day, while I think that Sam is a great performer, and in collaboration with some other great talents like Nick, Charls, and Erick, can produce something entertaining, I think as an individual Sam is a really seedy character even outside of anything Marky related.

Maybe it's just me, but his doggedness in shitting on his own dad over the years is really distasteful to me, especially with the context from this thread that it's all over him crashing his dad's car and getting some kind of consequence for it. It's a very art school fag thing to do, hell to powerlevel a bit it's something I myself have done in my past, but it's also a hangup I got over when I was 19. Sam being on the wrong side of 30 and still bitching about Daddy in his creative output is just really pathetic to me, and totally undermines him as any kind of thought leader in the "disaffected youth" podcast industrial complex. Call your dad and say you're sorry faggot, you'll regret not doing it one day when he's gone.

If this existed I definitely would have seen it. Doubt.

"Harland Globetrotters" is an all-time line from Mike and great example of a throwaway riff.

The analysis of Tom Green doing a similar thing and pissing Joe off from Redbar is also great.

Canada-fag here so love Tom, Norm and Harland. All 3 guys who you either "get" or don't.

Yeah I still find enjoyment in some of the stuff, not like I'll banish myself from watching Seinfeld because he had a relationship with a 17 year old.

Sam is definitely a seedy person, represented by his crew.

Sam Hyde's thread is designed for Marky sperging just the way Foodie Beauty's thread is designed for cat sperging.

We're all just aging, divorced, alcoholic, fat women who can't get any dick arguing about this minutae.

A lot of what Charls say there seems to be true imo, like Sam being more of a publicity stunts guy than a creative/funny guy. Thats exactly what happened on the Harland show, he couldnt come up with jokes and just did something shocking which resulted in the show gaining a lot of attention. The episode with Sam has way more views than a lot of the other ones in Harland's channel. Maybe that compensates for trashing the set lol.

I know Mike is hated on here, and to some extent I get it, but he's the best in the game in my eyes when it comes to dismantling what makes this new era of "edgy" Joe Rogan comedy so gay. An All timer clip.

especially with the context from this thread that it's all over him crashing his dad's car and getting some kind of consequence for it.
That appears to be the straw that broke the camels back but there's probably a lot of interpersonal drama as there is with every relationship. Like how Sam's mom lived in a shit box efficiency apartment after the divorce.

Also supposedly the full story is that Sam stored his car (some mid-level collectible) at his dad's who left it to rust outside without paying for repairs and then later asked Sam to pay for his car when Sam wrecked it.

Edit: "call your dad" he apparently emailed him to mend the relationship and his dad responded like a gay guy, according to Sam.
