(GTA was only removed from two retail stores, it was never a nationwide ban). Yet now all of a sudden they've managed to convince international payment processors to bend the knee to them? Now funny thing, PayPal is very easy to push around on changing their policies (for eff sake you cannot buy a gun holster of Etsy if you use them), combined with people pointing out they weren't able to use it until Steam rolled out the update. What happened was some underpaid accountants developed a formula (that the financial director took credit for) that showed these payment processors that what they would lose by refusing to process transactions for certain sexual content is nothing compared to what they would lose when people find out what the sexual content actually is and start demanding government regulations which will lead to fines, costly restructures and massive reputational damage.
