It's hard for me to reconcile men's constant complaints about how hard dating is for them, with what I actually see when I look around at the relationships some of the women I know are in. Most women I know will put up with endless amounts of absolute bullshit just to be able to say they have a boyfriend or husband.

Almost every woman I know has, at some point, dated a man who was ugly as fuck, fat, short, broke, small dicked, smelled like shit, didn't brush his teeth or wash his ass, never gave her an orgasm, porn addicted, never took them on dates or paid for shit, was socially retarded.. the list goes on and on. It makes me irrationally angry every time someone describes sex (women to have sex with) like a commodity to be distributed. Some people die as virgins, some of those people are men, and there is nothing wrong with this. Not everyone is meant to perpetuate their DNA, and if you have a hard time earning resources and finding people who want to be around you enough to find a partner, it's probably your fault. (It's definitely your responsibility regardless.)

If the world really is fixed against men for the simple fact of their birth (it's not but for the sake of argument let's pretend), that shouldn't be a reason to avoid reflection or self-improvement. It should be a reason to work harder or change what you're doing, if only to create a life you can enjoy as a single person. Nobody can guarantee that they will have a life that makes them happy, much less marry and reproduce, but if you lament that you can't purchase a woman for an hour and treat her like a fleshlight like you're buying chicken at the grocery store, why would anyone (suitors, employers, friends) want you? This type of man would literally be more useful ground up into fertilizer.

Agreed and have been saying this for years. What 6-6-6 requirement? Go to any supermarket and you'll see that men who look like they had to bargain to get on earth are married with kids. Short, fat, balding men regularly marry (just look at the grooms in any wedding planning board) and broke men routinely have baby mamas. Dweeby limp-wristed BYU "nice guys" are married by 20. Hell, the poly scene is ruled by some of the most grotesque men ever birthed. And unless they're both rich trust fund babies or whatever, the guy will almost always be uglier compared to the girl.

I'm in no way trying to claim BPD isn't real, but the disorder is such an iffy subject to me; borderline seems to be the new, re-branded "female hysteria". Young women seen as "difficult patients" or not responsive to treatment are just smacked with the diagnosis on a whim. Like throwing the towel in, "it's BPD, just learn some coping skills". Just a crazy bitch to them.
Psychiatrists and other mental health professionals seem to glaze over the diagnosis criteria and diagnosis with 'woman I don't like'. Often bipolar, CPSTD, or other cocktails of disorders can be misdiagnosed as Borderline Personality Disorder.

I feel this way about nearly every non-western cultural group, and it keeps some of my racism in check. As much as we complain (with every goddamn right to) about the white-man's wrongs against us, generally, they hold the most respect for our fairer sex than any other group.

You're not wrong - there's also an overlap between misdiagnosis of autism with BPD - but there's also a lot of BPDs who have heard this and are now trying to say they have autism to explain their 'meltdowns' and CPTSD was only given formal diagnosis status last year. Considering BPDs cause trauma and distress wherever they go, particularly when younger, why wouldn't they have the disorder that results from long term experience of stress and trauma? their whole life is that, but they're unable to see themselves as the cause or common factor. I'm personally suspicious of CPTSD as a way to deflect from BPD, like with Autism. Like it is possible to have both, but of course BPDs want to avoid the stigma. Skinwalking is never going to not carry stigma because of how fucked up it is, so we do need a label for the women who are that fucked up. There's also the argument about how men are generally diagnosed with NPD and women with BPD and whether they really need to be separate categories.

Female hysteria was basically a label for stress induced by boredom because it came from a time period where women literally couldn't leave the house easily. And the treatment was literally to stay home and masturbate (or go to your doctors for them to help). So I find it a bit dishonest that women are trying to say BPD directly = hysteria now when women still have a lot of obstacles but can have actual lives. It was not the working class women who were getting the hysteria label, it was young or middle-aged middle class and up women who were looking down the barrel of having absolutely nothing to do but hold luncheons and have babies the next 30 years, with little education to keep themselves occupied intellectually, either. There was still the problem of sexual trauma creating a (justified) mass sense of anxiety and stress in women, but that wasn't the only or main reason for the diagnosis of hysteria, where it is considered to be a driving force in present-day BPD.

The ICD-11 (European / WHO DSM) was released last year and has got rid of many individual personality disorders in favour a general 'personality disorder' label and then 'trait clusters' so that you take one trait that the patient is reporting and look at other ones that are commonly comorbid with it. There is a borderline trait cluster. I think borderline could probably benefit with a 'low on the spectrum' label like Aspergers is for Autism (although I know autistic people aren't supposed to use that any more) because that's what people are really looking to distinguish. It is possible to have borderline traits as maladaptations, without meaning you're a complete basketcase, and would probably stop the feeling that patients are being dismissed as histrionic.
