I wonder how many of his omnibus of fanfics are actually just stories that were already written. The legwork was done for him. He just added a character. Even the most non-creative person can do that. And they do! Example from a friend: " Hey, wouldn't it be cool if Guardians of the Galaxy 2 had Deadpool in it*?"

Neo isn't creative (to say the least) so I'm going to guess it's a crossover with the My Little Pony cartoon from the early 90's. I barely remember that show (it was over 25 years ago after all), but the characters were school age so his mentioning a school indicates it's that show. And Neo always makes a big deal about how he hates people so it definitely wouldn't be the first show from the 80's, which had a human girl the ponies were best friends with.

Or I could be wrong and he's doing a crossover with a pony show that came along well after my time. Either way it's not something he completely came up with on his own.

I didn't see anything in regards to 2002, but it may be one of those weird things cause by him having no theory of the mind.

If you look at the four recent stories posted here two of them have 2002 in their titles. Although it could be random autism (like all the backstory with his wife), it can't be ruled out that he loved the shit out of 2002 for one reason or another.

If I'm not mistaken one of the early fanfics was also set in 2002 or around that year.

2002 puts him at 10 then. I doubt he's pathetic enough to consider graduating elementary school the crowning achievement of his life. 2002 might be a time when he was exposed to the earlier 90s MLP show or first time seeing the matrix (1999). It could be the year he developed his Neo Anderson persona.

Nobody brought it up but his youtube channel has some really great videos. They're slide shows he makes by playing music and clicking through mlp art and getty images. He hasn't added one in 6 months but here is my personal fave cause it opens with that sick coffin pic he posts on fb from time to time:

Finally made it through this thread, this is pure gold. You're all wrong about his appearance though, he's quite obviously going for the current Blackie Lawless look. It's actually uncanny.
