So someone criticized Frayhua's latest video (about how The Last Guardian apparently runs at 10 fps on normal PS4 and how this correlates to Phil somehow) and it lead to this... Rather strange tirade

(If you don't know who Frayhua is, they just make videos on DSP)

This is real and exists. Fun fact: one reason they even formed in the first place was because they hated the idea of trying to use DSP as a springboard for either fame or profit. So much for that.

Might as well also mention, since I did so in KingofPol's thread that the SoK was rife with intermember drama, suffering two minipurges and an honest to god powerstruggle over becoming "president" (which was actually a joke title btw) a while back. Fred Fuchs won that over some furry who initiated the second minipurge, and then proceeded to create a series of member levels, with an inner circle of trusted confidantes to basically turn a joke title into reality and to keep the power if you will.

No idea why Freddy Fazfuck is tolerated though.

I appreciate the digging the SoK did on the Laveria thing, since the info was good, but their latest vlog on Leanna's panic attack was nothing but a-logging, pearl clutching ("this situation is so gross, I can't handle this anymore") and virtue signalling ("we care more about Leanna than Phil, how dare he call us sociopaths"). Good cringe though.

One of the purged members did end up on Dead Horse Interchangable's forums (which are now gone) sometime last year and did not paint a pretty picture of the group's dynamics. If I remember correctly, he got booted out of the group for allegedly causing drama involving one of the female members (I think it was Schaden) even though by his accounts he was good friends with her and helped her out a bit.

Grain of salt, obviously.

Could you elaborate or link to your post there? I remember their old stuff used to have nine or ten people all talking at once, and the one chucklefuck going on about fighting Phil all the time.

Fazfuck is annoying, but at least he's not as bad (comparatively) as the obnoxious spergs Moogle and Renegade Operative.

Maybe if one of them proves they care about Leanna enough Phil will let them go out with his daughter. I know Loophole originally made that joke in a call with Phil but I don't think he's a SOK regular anymore.

On the intermember drama? Sure, though be warned my memory regarding this shit is fuzzy and thus needs to be taken with salt; it was around three years ago by this point. The original minipurge kicked out a member or two due to a combination of skype drama and some pettiness on the perpatrator's part. It's been years since it happened, but I remember it had a lot to do with convos. Regardless, it set the stage for the second minipurge since the orchestrators behind the first one burned some bridges with other members who took offense and who didn't like their attitudes. This was also the beginning of a power struggle to seize a joke title.

You see, the SoK's "presidency" was actually based on an in-joke and a reference to MGS2. The in-joke was that the original President was going by the name George, which was also Solidus Snake's name. This combined with how it was formed (basically being a rebuke of the old KWO using DSP like he claims his detractors were), led to the name itself, which was actually based on the term "Sons of Big Boss". The president was never supposed to have any real authority and it was supposed to be a 'return to basics'. But that did not stop a furry, who I now remember his name (Rockaway Carter), from trying to take it and take charge of the group. He set up the second minipurge, but was beaten to the punch by Fred Fuchs in seizing power.

Rockaway pissed away his goodwill with his buddies since he basically used them for his own means and actually was planning to backstab more of them. Fred was able to use this to take the chair. From there he set up several levels of membership to make sure that he could more easily keep control over the group, which was why you had some members afterward leave. There is an inner circle which is comprised of people he trusts the most.

And a bit of a fun fact: Fuchs is a Pol. Science major. Take that as you will.

Renegade was one of the original SoK; he was friends with EvilAJ who was also brought on. This is why he's still on. Moogle was an early joiner, though I forget how and when he joined; I do think he's Inner circle though, so that's why he's on.

Fun fact: the SoK actually was given a template on how to set up a decent hour/hour-and-a-half podcast. They decided to instead create those marathon things because fuck it I guess.

From the little i've seen from the DSP A-Logs they're as pathetic (if not more) than Phil himself
There was this one guy on the Let's Watch of TIHYDP of Sonic 06 that had an insufferable nasal voice that had the guts to complain about how DSP's voice being annoying. It's astounding how those guys lack any self awareness whatsoever
At least here people just post when they feel like it to look at what their favourite cows are doing, how many layers of autism do you have to be on to stream for 7+hours on a single topic you hate?

This is what we were saying over in the Phil thread. A lot of what they do seem to mimic Phil and his fanbase a lot. God forbid you call them out on their shit too or point out they are acting a bit too much like Phil they will ban you from their chat as well.
