It's the colloquial name for a series of reforms that Catholic church implemented in the 60's in order to modernize and somewhat liberalize the church. Fundie weirdos like Skylar think that it was illegitimate, some going so far as to think that subsequent popes were illegitimate which has lead to several "literally who?" pretender popes that claim to represent the True and Honest church (I think Skylar just rejects Vatican II, I don't think he thinks the church itself has become heretical).

Without getting too much into spergy religious shit, lemme put it this way: If Skylar was Chris-chan, then Catholicism is his Sonic the Hedgehog and Vatican II is BLUE ARMS.

I don't understand why anyone not financially or institutionally connected to the Church could still support it in the first place. Complaining about homosexuals in the Catholic Church is like putting on a Klan outfit and trying to have a discussion at a BLM meeting.

Yknow I gotta ask why is it that people think they can take kiwifarms.net on and win? Honestly the fuck do our subjects of amusement all lack critical judgement to take a half second to think before making irrevocable actions that may fuck all credibility they may have perminately?

Yeah granted but like that can't be the sole fucking reason? I mean are there some people with that who do show some form of critical judgement or do people who can't use autism as an excuse.

I know tism manifests diffently in everyone so that's why I'm somewhat surprised by the answer

Side note: Facebook has a specific link to report unauthorised photos of your children posted by other people. And they dgaf about any lawsperging they might get back. The takedown happens in a couple of hours after the complaint, generally.

I doubt the poor parents involved will ever come across this thread, but this may be a useful fact to some folks reading.

To be fair, by the time they make their first post they already have no credibility.

But it is indeed hilarious how they never fail to hand over more milk to us. Case in point being Skylar publishing and sharing facebook messenger transcripts that make him look like a complete idiot, maniac and asshole while the other person is completely reasonable.

That's the thing about disordered personalities. Normal people all have negative impulses of some kind or another that we don't want to act on, and flaws we dislike about ourselves, but we work to keep the vast majority of them in check in whatever way we can. So we think, good lord, if I was a narcissist or borderline or whatever, I'd at least try to do more to hide it than these people do. I'd do more to make sure it didn't get in the way of long-term gains.

But they don't think they have anything to hide. If they did, they'd be sort of a jerk who needed therapy, not a full-on narcissist/borderline. To actual personality disordered people, the way they act seems like it's perfectly reasonable, and they're incapable of realizing that they're applying vast double standards -- they will make up twisted pseudologic, fly into rages, anything at all to avoid realizing the truth about the way they see themselves as immune to the standards that should apply to all other people.

So they'll share all the logs and they'll tell you details that make everyone cringe because of how much more incriminating they are. In their head, it all made sense and hung together well enough to acquit them of any accusation.

I just finished reading this all up, but I have one quick thing to say after reading through supplied caps:

Shut the fuck up about Linux(and computers in general). No one cares, you sped. You're a failure who won't be completing their computer science degree, and spergs like you make dealing with intro-level classes painful. You're not a h4xx0r because you can cobble together some shitty app and use Ubuntu.

Hell, people don't need CS degrees, shit's so easy to learn on your own. Nothing you do is cool or special, especially tech work.

Lord almighty these homeschooled snowflakes. . .
