The video is pretty good. I especially like the end part where people like Salagir and other Dragon Ball fanfic writers miss the point of Dragon Ball.

However, the reason I am bringing this up is because I learned some more about Arj as a person. Holy shit, there's more shit about him than I thought.

For starters, and the most obvious of all, Arj is a complete retard. Now, since he is writing and showing off his Ultra Vegito work so proudly, he has to be. But this tard also uses AI for validation about how deep his fanfic is.

Caring about power levels is retarded and usually I'll be happy to let them slide if the story doesn't bring them up as the be all end all, but Salagir is a strict adherent to power level nonsense, to the point where he put a hard cap on all the characters so that they can never get stronger after a certain point. Where Piccolo can get brutally blown up by Salagir's waifu with a single finger like he's a Saibaman. Or where Piccolo will outright power scale characters to other characters. If it's something like Super where Power Level "logic" will be ignored for the sake of allowing characters to be able to fight each other.
The problem with DBM is that Tournament Arcs are inherently very easy to make, and you can write absolute megaslop like Record of Ragnarok and still be popular, but Salagir somehow managed to fuck it up. It takes EFFORT to make a bad tournament arc. It's the fucking easiest type of story to write. All the audience wants is 1v1 battles between two characters to be interesting. Even putting aside the random side stories and constant interruptions to the tournament, look at the last few tournament fights.

Uub vs Goku: Goku sandbags for the entire fight, then Uub runs out of stamina and loses. Goku doesn't use a single Ki attack here.
Vegeta vs Cell: Goofy, poorly written, Vegeta wins by asspulling Super Saiyan 3 and Instant Transmission.
Buu vs XXI: Buu loses to Dobson Inflation Spell instantly
Bra vs Gast: Bra gives up like a bitch after imagining a fight and everyone congratulates her for being amazing and thoughtful.
Vegeta vs Goku: Bootleg UI Omen slugfest, a less interesting fight than either of the Goku vs Vegeta fights in canon, choreography is boring, and the artstyle makes them look like action figures.
Gast vs XXI: Not even Janemba out of nowhere can save this fight from being dogshit. Gast sandbags a bit, then asspulls a oneshot move, then loses because of magic acid clouds.
XXI vs Goku: Lmao Goku got instakilled.
In the Quarters, Semis and Final, only 4 of 7 at best are real fights (though if you count Gast fighting XXI's +1 as a fight or not is up to you.) and one of those fights is absolutely terrible.

I don't know why you'd bother making Goku a finalist if you the author fucking loathe Goku, make him genuinely extremely retarded to a comical degree and then refuse to give him Dragon Fist because he's not "cool" enough.
