I think it was posted in this thread 80 or so pages ago that Borb basically set the party up for Anna. My point still stands though. Chris acts like Chris, this party couldn't have been good for her social standing.

Hmm, if the Borb set the party up then I wouldn't be surprised if Anna's friend went just to finally see Chris for themselves. The Crazy Pacer blog post was already out there, so they had been hearing stories for a while. If it's a birthday party somebody else is throwing then you don't have the awkwardness of having him with you at a regular restaurant or hanging out at somebody's house. Anna probably also begged them to come to give her more of a buffer.

I dunno, I think you might be giving Anna too much credit. She's a little slow-in-the-mind herself.

About Barb, a part of me thinks that she was a bit of a manipulative sociopath, and the Bob could have done better, I do wonder if Bob was a victim of spousal abuse because it just isn't related to women, men can be on the receiving end of it as well.

Borb setting it up rather than Chris sounds pretty likely. I thought Chris did it, but the whole thing reeks of Barb's minimal, cheap party decor. They thought Anna would be a good little girlfriend for Chris, aww.

What a bleak looking room. Looks more like the kind of room that'd be used for detention rather than a learning enviroment.

Also, that has to be Chris' laziest smile ever. He's making a real effort at his 18th birthday party in comparison to this pic.

I thought he was just stuffing his fat face with pizza in that pic. Shows that Chris values food over human companionship.

Also, it's kind of sad that in all the pizza party pics no one ever looks happy to be around him. (Except for the teacher) Did Chris's 'tism/personality screw him over that badly? *sigh*

Going by what he wrote in "A Week With Christian Weston Chandler", he felt his classmates were beneath him and probably was rude to them in class. He also probably bragged about his dumb video game achievements too and acted like no one was better at games then him.

I love how bored and annoyed he looks. He can't even pretend to be happy to see Spidey. He's just reminding Barb that he's not taking a picture with Sawnic. I bet Barb had to buy some toys and maybe a game in order to make him happy because Sonic wasn't there.

I always thought it looked like Spidey is being passive aggressive about having to take a photo with our pet lolcalf. Like Chris probably said something akin to "I don't like you as much as Sawnic" and Barb was all "SPIDERMN. TAKER PITCHER WITH CHRISSUN NAH." and so the poor guy in the costume is like "You want a picture, here's your GD picture." and thus is subtly pantomiming choking him.
