Armchair psychology all up in here, but no. I seriously doubt Rusty has been clinically delusional all this time. He's definitely experiencing a big ol' helping of the crazies right now, but I think he's experiencing a brutal narcissistic injury. Not only has he lost all his friends and family, his ego has been run through a woodchipper twice, and he's been given a giant red sticker that says"TARD ALERT" in court, which is a place he holds near and dear to the center of his ego.

I don't know. I still think his beliefs rise to the level of delusion. He thinks that these people talk about him, conspire against him, and attempt to hurt him. The other day when he recorded himself watching the video that said he sent to them while he was still trying to work everything out with them.... What was that video supposed to mean to them? He's doing air guitar (with a guitar, but still) to some song. What meaning did he think they would derive from that? He obviously thought that it would send a message to them that they would understand. That's delusional.

He is definitely suffering from a narcissistic injury, which I think makes it more likely that he's having other symptoms. Personality disorders rarely present without an accompanying mental illness. Flare-ups are more likely when the personality disorder has created some sort of crisis in the person's life. I have seen someone going through a similar breakdown, and it all comes out at once, and you will even see new things, like dissociative identity disorder pop up all of a sudden.

Damn it, he must've blocked me for laughing at him. I can't see his profile any longer, unless he's rage quit again since you posted this, or unless these are older posts for some reason.

Very likely, he rage quits daily or whenever he has to be away from his account because he must monitor every comment. If he'd leave his page unmonitored for a few hours I could only imagine the fun ppl could have spreading truth and justice on his FB page.

He quit, then deleted almost everything he posted today. He JUST posted this.

I love Russ. He's the little re-tard that could.

For those debating if he's delusional or not - this is the guy who believes Taylor Swift timed the release of some single in December 2016 to distract from Russ' then upcoming trial against her.

He's a beautiful creature. Russ is a light in the dark.

He's such a fucking greasy train wreck that he is uniting people around the world to stop and laugh at him.

That video (or videos; the initial video of him flailing around with a guitar to "Better Now" by Collective Soul, and then the video-of-a-video featuring Russ's slurping, slobbering, and howling) is the single biggest indicator of his delusion for me. Why he used that song in the context of "negotiating" his imagined Taylor Swift dispute, I would guess this crazy person made this particular crazy choice for posturing: He's so confident, so happy, that no matter how much Taylor and her people harass and abuse him, they can't bring him down. This doesn't jibe with "Taylor Swift destroyed my life!" of course, but hey, he's legitimately crazy and delusional, not consistent.

I wonder if Russ still has the guitar. If he does, making more music videos would be a great way to promote his new book. If no guitar, maybe just a little lip-synching.

I definitely think what he's experiencing now is a paranoid, psychotic delusion. What I was arguing is that he has not been in a paranoid, psychotic delusion all along. Yes, most personality disorders are comorbid with mental illness. I definitely think he is has some sort of mood dysfunction. Whether that's Bipolar I, Bipolar II, Psychotic Major Depression, or any other variety of mood disorder, but there's very plainly something going on in that regard.

As I've said before, not going to powerlevel myself, but I know what I am talking about. It is incredibly fucking dangerous and dismissive to label someone who presents socially malignant behavior as "crazy" or as "psychotic" to explain all their behavior. Some of the behavior? Sure. All of it? Hell no. Yeah, a lot of stuff Rusty has done is clearly due to some serious mental illness, but psychosis and mental illness are not synonymous. Everyone who suffers from mental illness is not psychotic. Rusty has been way too lucid at periods of times before his epic tard parades to have been in a full-blown paranoid and/or delusional psychosis this whole time.

Edit: @sharshorita, I am not trying to respond personally to you, nor am I alleging you are saying crazy=psychosis. All I am trying to convey is that many people conflate "crazy" with "full-blown psychosis" and that is a very dangerous attitude to have, especially since it is so prevalent.

Russ has posted dozens of statements that prove this book is malicious against Taylor Swift. He's publishing it a) to hurt her b) to try to capitalize on her fame.

If he thinks Skordas isn't collecting his posts and sticking them in a file just in case, than he's not only delusional, but re.tarded.

Yes, people can write about celebrities, as long as it's true and their experience, and it's not libel. But Russ is not only writing a book that is likely mostly made up, he has also announced numerous times that Taylor's team won't like it and he's doing it to "get back" at her. He's not legally safe, no matter what he thinks. This could be a defamation suit. I doubt she'll bother unless sales are high, but it's possible.

Proving he wrote it with malice will be easy. Question is, will she want to even go down that rabbit hole?

I'm definitely buying the book. I discovered that Amazon does not pass the purchaser on to the author, which makes authors mad as they want to put their buyers on their own lists. Amazon wants that info for themselves. So if you buy it, you are safe from Russ, can probably use your real account.

After I get it, I'll handle it anyway you all see is best. I type fast (which is why my posts tend to be long) so I'm willing to excerpt it. Also happy to pass it around. I'm sure it's not a full-sized book so it's probably not much. I'll just share it or upload it if there is a way to do that with kindle.

I'm just saying this so people who don't want to give Russ money dont feel obligated. I'll def share!
If that's the case I reckon I might buy it if there was a kindle version.

How dare he say that Taylor Swift is bigger than the Beatles? Who... in turn... are bigger than Jesus? (way out of context, but ok) So is he saying Taylor Swift is bigger than Jesus?

@theriddler3 Let's not split hairs here. I think we both know what we're talking about. I never said psychosis is synonymous with mental illness. All I said is that at this point in time, he's clinically delusional, and at other times as well. Agree, disagree, that was my contention. I don't know where you think I dismissed him as "crazy" or "psychotic" to explain all his behavior. Maybe you're responding to something that's kind of in the air and not what I specifically said. I know that people in psychosis are not always in psychosis. But you can also have long-running delusions which are kind of at a simmer and will be less important to the person while they are more healthy, and then acute, more extreme delusions at particular points in time.

I hope that Russ wasn't there when the Swift's moved, and that was a product of his imagination...

As for Taylor Swift being bigger than The Beatles? Pfft, please. People still talk about the genius of The Beatles now, Taylor Swift has been around for around a fifth of the time they have and already she's a fucking running joke.

I'm not trying to split hairs. I'm actually not even really meaning to directly respond to you, @sharshorita. I stated in my very first post regarding this that he is experiencing a psychosis currently, but he has not been in one all along. I know Rusty is reading my comments on Kiwi because he's made mention of one of my posts on his facebook.

My response to you is more of a general PSA for those unaware. I am posting my responses to you because Rusty's behavior is inexcusable. He may be in a full-blown psychosis now, but, regardless, his behavior is dangerous and should not be tolerated by anyone, especially not whomever has enabled him to get to this point. Rusty simply couldn't get this bad without someone on the sidelines at least unconsciously egging him on (most likely his family by providing money and their complete and total inaction regarding his long, long history of socially malignant behavior). I worry because I know that many people who are accused of being psychotic all the time internalize that and decide that their behavior is well out of their ability to control. Literally nothing in Rusty's life will become and/or return to functional unless he takes a serious look at himself and admits he's wrong; his psychotic episode, his mental health, his disability-- all of it is a red herring argument when he or Kiwi Farmers are discussing his behavior(s). Edit: My biggest worry is Rusty decides he is completely out of control of his behavior, then he finds himself in a situation where he actually can severely harm someone and he takes his chance. Just look at Rusty-- who can be realistically hurt? Children. Young children.

Rusty may have one of the most lolenablingfamilies I have ever seen. And I've fucking seen a bunch.

Let's be real, though. Rusty is gonna produce some top-quality cream until the courts finally stop him and institutionalize him. Narcissist gonna narcissist.
