a lot of american artists do this, since it was something that shows up in old cartoons like mickey mouse a lot.

It certainly feels like it's a satire on this trope taken to a logical extreme.

The difference is that these characters don't have their fucking junk out. Also they're not 12 year olds.

At least something like R. Crumb's "Fritz The Cat" knew how to do bottomless characters effectively.

I mean... there's Togepi1125 the Star Fox macro porn guy. One of the best lawyers/doctors (I don't remember which one it is) in Hong Kong, literally a fucking millionare, has spent literally millions of dollars on macro porn. And that's not even an exaggeration.

But I remember seeing this guy's art floating around on the furry porn part of Tumblr (in like 2013-2014). Didn't think he was so fucking weird besides the 1 incest comic with the dogs. I keep thinking all the female "cubs" he draws are cuntboys because of how he draws them (feminine hips, chubbier faces, no tits)... maybe that's just because there's so much cuntboy content in the furry community though.

I know this is completely off-topic but from somebody really deep in the Star Fox fandom the idea that Togepi1125 is a lawyer/surgeon in HK is a rumor that was started by westerners as a joke. Togepi1125 himself on Twitter has stated that this is not the case, he makes a normal wage and manages his money to set aside the equivalent of $1,000 - $1,500 a month to commission artwork. He said that he lives alone and saves money wherever possible to try and reserve it for his special interests.

I could get the tweets he posted as proof too but I'm too lazy. His Twitter handle is @Togepi1125 and he posts about this stuff a lot.

I wonder how many of these people are just in it for money. I'm sure this guy's a genuine furfucker but I mean if I was an "artist" and I saw how much furfag kiddos with liberal access to mommy's credit card pay for commissions, I'd draw dog dick till the cows go home. Even Shaddy Daddy dabbled in it to pay bills back in the day.

If I could draw for a damn I'd gladly do furry art for the money. Some artists drag in 200$ a commish and usually set up waiting lists. Most do ten, cut off, finish what's on their plate and then re-open. The real trick, however, is to double down on a Patreon and do art. I know one artist who's subsiding entirely off of his art. He does a weekly comic (848$ a page so 4-5 payments a month) and does commissions on the side at about 60$ to 200$. So the comic alone nets in over 3000 a month, not counting Patreons cut, and then he does commissions in between. He's doing what he loves and making money hand over fist; what's not to like?

I should've been more clear, it may not have been Apple. It's just for some reason in my mind I assumed that was the case, like I had read it before. Him being a dev at some crummy company in California sounds a lot more appropriate.
