Well, obviously. Chris didn't bother to do any real research, he just did his usual half-assed, throw everything at the wall and see what sticks. But as I also said, it's also a frightening example at what happens when your parents don't give a shit about getting you the proper help you need.

I think it's less of them denying him the help and more of them convincing themselves he didn't need that stuff. Chris is the self-loving, hate-everything-else fatty we know him only because he got it from somewhere, which as we know are his parents convincing him that he's the most goddamn important person on Earth and should be allowed to live like a child.

Truth be told, much of Chris's critical development periods during school...were not at school. After Greene County and the lawsuit, didn't he get homeschooled until the beginning of high school? That's several years and most of puberty where he was kept in his house and taught God only knows what variation on all required subjects by his parents, thus permamently locking him into his current state and gluing the blinders on his worldview. They say that if students aren't interested in doing well by fifth grade, they'll flunk out, or something to that nature. Was Chris even in school anymore, or did the 'scream recording' happen earlier? Either way, he missed that key milestone, and it's been showing in these documents skyraider probably had to recover from the trap-laden ruins of the CWCville City Gym Temple of Doom.

It's been popularized that Borb didn't just not get Chris help but actively fight against it.

He was homeschooled? Oh that's frightening -- Borb as teachers.

But I don't think you can blame it solely on autism. I've met people online with Aspergers, and most of them aren't nearly that academically screwed.

The CWCki's got your back on those questions.

Doesn't it ever irk an honest student that speds are allowed to get the same graduation they have to work for? I mean, I know Chris's classmates realized he was never going anywhere in life, but still...

Yeah these are the real victims, the D students. Sometimes an employer needs to know which of the mouth breathers can at least follow instructions, and a high-school diploma is not an indicator of this if they're giving them out to people like Chris. It ruins the only employment credential a lot of these people are going to have.

I can imagine the valuable life lessons she imparted to her special snowflake:

Barb: "Now listen here, Chrisshun. The firs' lesson t'day is :c + :snorlax: = Four ever. Now, could ya do sum fractions and make yer Mawmaw a q-sand?"

You know those people who will beat a game on easy mode, do exactly none of the bonus shit, get the "shitty ending" and then start bragging like they know everything about that game? These leaks are proving that Chris has done that with real life.

Lord. I minored in history, military history is a hobby of mine. My father was in the army in WW II and my mother was a plane spotter. I want to beat my head on a rock until something that looks like guacamole oozes out of it right now. Pickle Monster, I share your considerable pain. I am, however, delighted to see that a teacher finally brooked no bullshit from Retardo and called him out on his spelling errors and his useless syntax.

Without reading the entirety of the thread (I'm sure most everything that can be said about this "essay" has already been said): Bic must have sponsored Chris' foray through high school judging from the massive amount of red pens that had to be used to correct the essays he submitted.

Does anyone beyond grade school start a formal essay with something like "This essay is about...."? That may be fine when you're in second grade, but I hope that by high school, you would have learned to start a paper with something more artful than just stating your subject.

Of course, this does reads like a six or seven year old's version of World War II....

This leak has been so bad for my well-being. I first read it last night at 4AM, and I had to struggle so hard at not laughing out loud and waking the family that I swear I nearly developed a stomach ulcer. (I don't care if that's not what causes them!) And then today I showed it to my brother (who is, incidentally, the same age Chris was when this was written), who read it out loud. He got past the sentence about Woodrow Wilson before suddenly backtracking and saying, "wait, Woodrow Wilson?!" which caused me to laugh so hard I fell off the couch and nearly slammed my head against the coffee table.

I do think it was kind of shitty of the teacher to mark errors on the final draft without having attempted to correct them in the rough draft, but on the other hand Chris likely wouldn't have paid any attention to the corrections anyway. The teacher had probably realized this by this time, as it was near the end of the semester, and just didn't bother.

I think that's a majority of people who dealt with Chris. At first they would try their hardest in order to correct his wrongdoings. And then it'll come to a point where they realize it doesn't work on Tard-chan and it mellows out to cool indifference.

History is an interest of mine, so it's interesting to see people's perspectives on it.

-Describing the start of hostilities between Japan and the United States with the Marco Polo Bridge Incident might be true in an indirect sense, but it's way too subtle for Chris to knowingly draw that conclusion. For most people, that war began on Dec 7th, 1941--Pearl Harbor! That Chris didn't say that at all is indicative.

-The Japanese/US Anxieties have several starting points; among them the conclusion of the Russo-Japanese War (1905) where Teddy Roosevelt presided over a peace that didn't really reward Japan in spite of their major victories. Once again, Chris is using a quote without understanding where it came from.

-And then this gets even DUMBER! CWC claims that the President of the United States during WWII is Woodrow Wilson (President 1912-1920) and that the USA was trying to extricate forces from Shandong. [Could he have meant the Korean War? Even if he somehow completely messed up the geography, which is admittedly tricky, this is all matter of fail]

-Chris then claims that Japan and the USA sued for a negotiated peace. The USA, of course, firebombed, blockaded and nuked the Japanese Home Islands. Japan unconditionally surrendered.

-Post War, Japan's wartime leadership was subject to military tribunal--of a similar sort to the Nuremberg Trials in Germany. Supreme Commander of Allied Powers (SCAP) Douglas MacArthur did usher in a better relationship in defeated Japan than the USA has managed in other nations, largely by allowing Japan to change the narrative so that Hirohito went from a perpetrator in the war into a powerless passenger. Under intense scrutiny, including banning an armed force under article 9 of their constitution, Japan essentially conceded any desire of being a military power. This wasn't co-operation, it was the United States ensuring that Japan would never screw with them again--and its worked out for both nations.

---
I'd expect a High School Student to basically say:

Japan Bombed Pearl Harbor!
Japan grabbed a bunch of Islands but the USA built a huge navy and kicked Japans' ass.
USA Nuked Japan.

Chris doesn't even show a basic understanding of WWII; a sorry story for the son of a Army Veteran. I wonder if Chris got to choose this topic or whether it was assigned--but even if he had to do this, its a terrible paper that mixes a couple of high level theses with abject failure.

This essay reminded me of that Malcolm in the Middle episode where Reese had to provide a timeline of American events:

First thing that happened was man walking on the moon, then Colombus discovered America and then the Lincoln-Kennedy shootout.
