She didn't conned you out of those dvd...you give her those DVD because you thought you were going to get china.

Since Chris didn't get sex in return, he considers it getting 'conned'.

What Megan should do is smash the original DVDs into pieces, sweep the mess in a box, and mail it to Chris with a note enclosed reading "There. Your precious DVDs are yours again. Happy now?"

I think it's okay to be mad at Chris. He blathered inane nonsense on wanting to spend his hardly earned pay to replace his stupid legos before going on to say that he spent it on responsible adult things.

Nice to know where his priorities lie, though.

Oh well. At least the next few years will be a character building expeience for him. Criticize Bob all you like, at least he attempted to teach Chris finances. Admitddy it was a waste of time though, just like heping him go to PVCC

So he can't fill current orders because he blew his money on resources for future orders?
Priorities!

Anyone else confused by the use of mortgage here? Knowing Chris it is likely he could confuse rent with mortgage for the new rental home.

But...if he is referring to his burnt down house....this could mean serious trouble. No way, he can pay both a rent and mortgage at the same time.
Why would anyone possibly still be paying the mortgage on a burned up shitpile like 14 BC? Any sane person would have defaulted on the mortage and let the bank repossess that worthless hellhole months ago.
Ohh wait, it's :stupid: and barb that we're talking about here.

So he goes and buys a bootleg set of Sailor Moon DVDs for a retarded price instead of waiting for the upcoming official sets to be released to replace the ones he gave Megan years ago. Yet was complaining a while ago about how bootlegging is wrong.

Stay classy Chris, you gloriously fat tub of shit flavored lard.

Also, I keep laughing at the whole "my family and me" when really it's just him and Snorlax.

At least the next few years will be a character building expeience or him.

Chris couldnt build a half decent replica of PVCC. What makes you think he could build character in the face of financial hardship?

Why is he spending money putting together some future sale he intends to make when his last post said he is not prepared to fulfill the sales he's already made?

Whoever bought this shit, seriously guys, you gotta start filing complaints with Ebay and PayPal.
The sad this is; he probably wasn't buying it for "'future sales". And the "quarter of my 2000" is a lie. We did the math. In LESS than TWO MONTHS he has boughten over $1,000 in LEGO. I don't get why he thinks people are so fucking stupid. Seriously; who has he ever interacted with (besides Barb) that has fallen for these bold faced lies?

He typed "Hmmpf!" and then posted a pic of Rarity. I don't even care about the money thing, I'm still stuck on Chris thinking that would work to deter people.
Silly Phallus, everyone knows the best way to make people stop mocking you is to show them pictures of a kids show about cartoon ponies.

do you still have the tally list?

The problem is that he attempted to play on people's sympathy in order to exhort them to spend money on his eBay items. He stated repeatedly that he wanted the money to pay for bills and Barb's teeth, then goes off and spends over $400 on toys and DVDs. I think if he'd been more honest about the whole thing then most people, myself included, would cut him a break.
Yeah, this is it. I don't take personal offense at his conning and lying, and I'm certainly not surprised by it, but if he keeps crying wolf about problems he doesn't actually intend to deal with, then he gets what he deserves.

He still needs money; but doing research into his current purchases at ebay (since June 2014 and including shipping if indicated)
  • Sailor Moon : The Complete Uncut DVD Collection - Japanese - $190
  • Vintage Legos 1980s NASA Astronaut Minifigure Minifig Yellow Space Man Benny - $11
  • LEGO Monster Fighters Vampyre Castle (9468) Rare Set! Opened But Unbuilt! - $110
  • Three things from a single buyer (under private listing but the stuff the seller is selling implies it was lego minifigs) - $150
  • Three more things from a single buyer- not private. Three minifies totaling roughly $50 all together with shipping
  • 10, count em 10, lego figurines from another buyer. Some are $0.99 and some are $14; they were not shipped together. Total is $169
  • Two of the same lego minifig. It's a Marge Simpson one. - $25
  • NEW LEGO STAR WARS DEATH STAR HOLOGRAM palpatine 8039 red clone mini figure head - $3
  • Lego City x2 Red Boxing Gloves Hand Pair Boxer Sport Fight Minifigure NEW - $4
  • LEGO - *NEW* Minifigure Baseplate - Black 3x4 Plate w 1x4 Studs Base Brick Block - $2
  • Bought three more things from the Boxing Glove seller totaling $10
  • Lego mini figure 1 Old light gray color legs with yellow waist - $3
  • Lego mini figure 1 Old dark gray color of legs with yellow waist - $5
  • Lego mini figure 1 Black legs with yellow waist - $4
  • LEGO - Minifig, Head with White Eyes, Black Pupils and Red Nose Pattern - $6
Now, these are only the ones Chris has left feedback on right now (in the past month). It's fun to note that he always leaves the feedback "I got it, thank you"
EXCEPT, Chris has left a single bad review this month. Apparently, he purchased a "LEGO The Simpsons House (71006) Factory Sealed!" for $300 and he wasn't pleased with the delivery. According to Chris it "Did Not Include All Simpsons Characters." According to further research, "This set includes 6 minifigures: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Ned Flanders." That's all it was suppose to include and if it was factory sealed it's unlikely it was tampered with via seller.
So, the GRAND TOTAL for June and July so far is: $1042 + whatever we can't see via ebay.
Oh yeah, Barb needs money for new teeth.

I think he's expecting us to believe these are business investments for his Sonichu mini-fig scheme. He seems to be overlooking a couple issues:

1. He has been paid for services he still hasn't completed
2. He's been complaining for days about not being able to afford shipping
3. He's harassing the people he's demanding money from in these messages

And I doubt he'll ever even sell a minfig, it goes against his LEGO hoarder tendencies.

I told you guys not to assume there wasn't a mortgage on 14BC...

I was under the assumption it's what he's required to pay Barb every month from his Tugboat.
People gotta realize it's not a regular payment. Barb really just takes anything she needs and lets Chris have the rest. It's just that there isn't much left nowadays.

Chris is :stupid: and has the mind of a perhaps 6 year old child. That, and he was never taught any sort financial responsibility growing up. His parents never taught him any life skills on how to survive on his own, and enabled him throughout his entire life. His lack of financial responsibility and LEGO purchases are only Chris following his own nature. He can't help screwing up, so why be irritated by it? It's like watching someone who doesn't know how to swim fall overboard into the ocean, flounder for a few minutes, and then drown. Only in Chris's case, his financial floundering is more funny than tragic.
Chris can help screwing up, because he does avoid screwing up a lot. Chris doesn't fuck up 24/7, y'know.

So Chris has spent approximately $1,042 (that we know of) on Lego and other useless crap. So much for only a quarter of the original $2k. Sounds like someone's 'honor roll math' is a little rusty.

I'm surprised that Chris hasn't considered making Sonichu and Rosechu medallions. Crayola Model Magic isn't that expensive, and he could make them to order if he wasn't sure just how many he'd sell. If he put these on eBay for $20 bucks a pop (there is actually some work involved in making these) I bet he could move at least a dozen of them. The medallion has a LOT of Christory behind it, and a lot of Christorians would be tempted.

I wonder how much Lego he immediately went out and bought once he got money

Before anyone gets mad, I think we don't stress enough how much of a necessity these Lego are for Chris, it's much like a sane person can't understand the motivations behind OCD behavior or behind someone's addiction.

Yes, it's wrong of Chris to prioritize toys over essentials, no doubt. But to Chris' view, the Lego ARE essentials. Otherwise he wouldn't accept the amounts he spent on it and post about them (albeit fudging the numbers, but let's not attribute to malicious intent what we can easily attribute to ignorance).

In Chris' mind, getting mad at him for getting Lego is like getting mad at someone with depression for getting his Prozac.

That said, Chris is fat and stupid and he should really get into Mega Bloks like I do.
