Fox said:
BERLIN – Police say two people are dead after a shooting in Switzerland's biggest city, Zurich. They say the situation is under control.

City police said they rushed to the scene near the central train station after passers-by reported hearing shots on Friday afternoon. Officers found one person dead and a second with serious injuries, who subsequently died.

Police described it as a "violent crime" but gave no further details. They said the situation is under control and there is no danger to the public.

Everyone is armed in Switzerland. EVERYONE!
Multi-tools don't count.

But yeah, military service is also compulsory for citizens, so they know how to shoot.

Apparently just under 25% of Swiss citizens own a firearm. I guess not all of Europe is bad? Hope the EU doesn't take then over this .
Switzerland isn't in the EU, so they can basically tell them to go fuck themselves.

Europe is a continent, not a country. Each one has different laws, exceptions and situations. Italy, for example, has extremely strict laws and we're undergoing a debate on them, but there are some towns in the north east where judges are less severe and everyone carries a gun cause thieves are daily. France has even more severe laws that are useless cause the black market there reigns supreme. In slav countries guns are just toys and so on

In switzerland crimes happen very rarely cause it's an healthy country with an insane bank system that can afford to make all citizens live wonderfully. Money really buys happiness. But they still spend a ton of money in military, teaching gun usage and anti-bomb chambers, because Switzerland is a paranoid rich lady.

how's the huwhite/black ratio in switzerland? If I had to guess, I'ld say their population is mostly european/white native...

The Swiss all own guns but nobody carries or uses them for self-defense. They're all locked away in safes at home in case the Belgians or whatever attack.
This, my god parents moved to Zurich proper and are in their 70s, due to age they didn't have to serve but there are odd gun laws for them none when they were naturalized aliens and they can't have "service" weapons or some other stuff because they didn't serve.

Long story short, they have some shot guns but I have their hunting rifles now. I couldn't cite the exact law but they are legal citizens now and can't have a bolt action rifle.

They have a good portion of immigrants, but it's mostly from Italy, Portugal and Albany. Others are turks, indians and some blacks. The borders got closed 2 years ago or so. Everyone integrates pretty well, but there's some problems in the south regions. Tons of lazy bastards of all races and actual open fascists

Apparently the last big shooting in Switzerland was in 2001 in a place called Zug. 15 people dead including the shooter who committed suicide afterward. Craziest thing about it was that his victims were his state's parliamentary members.

After this occurred, parliaments beefed up security and the police were given the ability to check a suspect's home for weapons if it was ever brought to the authorities' attention that the person made a threat of violence against someone. Also, people who show signs of mental instability are not issued gun licenses and the states now make it a habit of writing down names of people who act belligerent and threatening towards political figures in the aftermath of unfavorable court proceedings and litigations and all that.

That being said, I would say it's relatively easy to do all this because 1) Switzerland is a small country, and 2) Switzerland is a small country.
