Cooking with Kat (and DSP) thread

Too dry (sauce wise) to be honest. Also the amount of carbs she shoves down his throat is amazing.

She's trying to get him in a gout coma so she can smother him under a pillow and collect all his money, after rewriting his will to give her all his money old Nintendo cartridges that Wolverine action figure oh never mind.

I do like how since the whole "Where's Kat" thing he tries to get a part of her in the picture as much as possible. A hand, an arm, a piece of clothing, just so people know she's there. It's obvious by now since he suddenly stopped taking pics of her and being all "Stop asking about her!" after shoving her in everyones face he got told off for it by her, but he still wants people to know she's still there in case they speculate she's left.

I don't give much of a fuck for pasta, but it looks okay. Maybe a bit dry.

I will comment that Phil is again the funnier part of this because I have in my head him whining to Kat about making it because he's so Italiano he bleeds pizza sauce that she made it to shut him the fuck up. That and him trying to skate around not taking photos by shooting her hand or leg because he's a desperate loser is gold.

I would actually call that an appropriate amount of sauce. It would be worse if it was instead sitting in a puddle of it. Pasta should be lightly painted with sauce, not soaked in it. My only complaint is that I dont think linguine is the best choice for a creamy sauce. Thick spaghetti would have been more appropriate.

I'm surprised nobody's had anything to say about the breadsticks-in-a-box on the table. That cracks me up.

That's the designated side bread spot.

He had oyster crackers for the soup in the same spot.

The Mexican and burgers didnt have anything though.

Maybe Phil or Kat insists on having a 'side'?

Its interesting that there are gaps between when Phil posts the food pictures. Maybe she is actually cooking him healthy food and forcing him to eat salads and shit but he doesn't want to admit it, and the only days we're seeing is when he has achieved enough good boy points to earn himself a carb filled extravaganza.

Nah everything she’s cooked has been easy to make in bulk. She’s making him eat leftovers. The chowder probably only spoiled because he refused to eat it.

How often did Phil actually take pictures of Leanna's cooking?

It felt like more than 2 posts a week, but I could be remembering wrong.

It being leftovers would make sense, but Phil isn't a leftovers man. He's a 30 dollars of takeout a night man.

Credit to Kat, this one is certainly a better meal meal her earlier attempts. She might actually get good at this.

He would 100% post his "healthy" meals and talk about how all the detractors think he only eats fast food. @gobbogobb is right--big cooking = leftovers = more Overwatch time instead of prep.

At least Leanna tried to make him eat healthier. I'll give her props over Death By Carbs here.

I think the sugars, refined carbs, and red meats Kat's feeding to Phil is a strange indicator of their strange relationship (as if it needed any). Leanna made Phil healthier food because of his gout (IIRC). But Re-anna and Phil haven't been together long enough for it to come out that he has a disease requiring a restrictive diet. And yet, despite their relationship being in this early stage, here she is making his meals. Strange. (And creepy).

he said a few days ago that the chowder went bad when they tried to eat it so they got wendy's instead. i bet they eat instant stuff, frozen meals, takeout, and leftovers when she doesnt cook homemade meals. She may very well just not cook that much.

I wonder how long until he gets scurvy?

honestly this one looks pretty good. i'd never put those kind of spices together and make "cajun" pasta (poor pasta), but it looks nicely sauced anyway.

Looking at it again that honestly seems like a huge portion of pasta. That's a True & Authentic pasta plate with a ½ inch recessed well, not a flat dinner plate, and it's heaped over an inch above that. That would be a large portion on a flat dinner plate but that looks like an amount of pasta the size of a human head. A runner would eat less than that amount of pasta to carbo-load before a marathon, not a gouty full-time LP'er who's only exercise is a waddle around the supermarket once a week. Didn't Phil say she had dinners planned all week? I really would like to think they ate this as leftovers the next day at least :(

All I can say is I'm not impressed by what the Soulmaid has cooked so far. Of course DickStrokingPhil doesn't care because somebody is finally cooking for him and he can focus all his energies on streaming and putting out kwality khantent. Problem is, it's all carbs and some protein.

This is only going to feed his gout and his gut.

Didn't Phil say he was making sauce today or is that next Saturday?

He said he hasn't made sauce in like 5 months. I guess because he has nothing to use it with. Boiling pasta or opening a bag of sub rolls is just too much time and effort for a full time pro gamer.

Very interesting. So let's see what the medicine says when someone has gout.
Refined Carbohydrates it says? Well, let's take a look what that means.
Basically every form of sugar, all kinds of flour, everything that includes the word "starch". Or more specific:
Cakes, cookies, muffins, pies, pastries, candy, chocolate,... there is also a list of things he's allowed to eat.

I guess I did more research on gout than Phil ever has. Maybe he should tell his cereal-killer (pun intended) soulmate about his little problem which requires "dietary management [with] restrictive and [...] limited benefit". Damn, these DSP Tries It where really worthwile for Phil. Sarcasm.

Edit - Which will hurt him most: No. Pasta.
