Let me break it down for anyone wondering (so phil since he reads here)

You claim to make raw unedited content with observational humour as you play the game and that this is harder than editing content for youtube.

Now for the part that blows your mind.

Did you stop to think that people who edit their content, do raw unedited content with observational humour as they play, then EDIT OUT THE DEAD AIR TIME to create the edited khantent you loathe?

Shit nigga I'm lazy too and if I streamed I wouldn't be fucked to edit my video for youtube but I can clearly recognise the work that goes into editing videos for upload vs just hitting that upload button.

I think he means raw unedited content is harder to watch than edited videos. Anyone can watch good videos that have been edited and had thought and effort put into it, but it's hard to enjoy endless hours of silence and watching the same part over and over again.

So if you watch edited videos you are lazy and not hard "workers" like DSP fans.

Phil, you're being a delusional shit talking twat again.

He could technically be right if he did shit like doing a section of game in one go and then scrubbing the recording if he either fucked up too hard in game to show progress (ie wasting the viewer's time) or if his audio was a dumpster fire (ie silent fuming, snorting and honking). In short, if he actually did try to make a decent video in one fucking take. It'd be arguable because *insert using Masenko to hit Nappa here* on my end; one reasonably long take can be very hard if you try to put basic quality standards in it.

But he doesn't do that; he just silently fumes, reeeing when he gets stuck or chat doesn't tell him what to do, and snorts and honks throughout a section he keeps sucking on. He just cuts at about the 10 - 15 minute cut off and does fuck all in listening to his own audio. In his case, it's a good deal more time to sit through and trim videos and adding effects.

Not that it matters, since Phil openly admits to being a tard; he tried to pretend his method took more skill, when the easier method would logically take less time and effort on his end by his own words. Phil checkmated himself by giving that childish excuse.

Whoever falls for this bodacious assertion deserves to be a DSP-fan cuz there are clearly some distinct thinking brain cells loose (idiots attract idiots). He really is the snake oil seller of Twitch, with the tiny difference of how the salesman wouldn't claim the initial snakes could outrun a cheetah. This must be one of the most stupid things I ever heard of Phil's toilet juice mouth, there is so much wrong with his statement.

There was enough really good stuff said about this nonsense (yes, last link's also slightly related), so I won't repeat that. Just the following:

Phil, in order to produce good edited footage, you must also create good unedited RAW footage.
Let's talk about meat, shall we? You can't have an edited steak without the RAW meat. Every cook uses RAW meat. They use the same flesh as you: RAW, with bones, a lot of fat and tough tendons. The cook cuts away these uneatable parts, roasts the meat and strews seasons on top. Voila, a fine meal.
You on the other hand throw the exact same uneatable bloody meat on a plate and calls it a finished meal, easy to eat.
And don't get me started on how YOUR meat isn't even good to begin with. It's old, smells bad, has a strange color and I'm close to vomiting by just looking at it. Your RAW footage sucks, Phil. Ever thought of how you can be a good RAW footage producer AND do edits? The world is strange, isn't it?

Wouldn't wonder me in the slightest. Since a while I'm under the impression Phil has no interest in creating entertainment for the internet. For him it's all about who has the biggest gamer cock, who's the best player, it's all about him and his ego and nothing else. And he thinks everybody else has the same attitude so they should create a fair playing ground instead of "cheating" their way up with editing.
