Know this question is from a few months back, but I've tried to look at Minds and just don't find the setup to be very user-friendly. The whole idea of boosting isn't for me. I only checked it after not looking at it for a year when I heard that Styxhexenhammer (who I sometimes watch on YT) was mentioning it a few times in his vid where he said he was leaving Facebook. On a cursory glance it seems like slightly less of an echo chamber, but it's kind of "meh" for me.

I know 3 big BR profiles that were banned recently, all fake accounts. Including a pimp of luxury whores (nobody knows his real identity, but he's a pimp anyway).
I don't think anyone cares about those assholes. And twatter is not very popular in Brazil anyway, most users are wealthy kids who use the site to comment about k-pop.
Gab is so open to free speech that they are deliberately trying to maintain "communists" as far as possible from the website. The diversity of opinions is a beautiful thing isn't it?

From a purely technical perspective, gab sucks.
Pages used to take tens of seconds to load, now they take 2 or 3 (which is still shit).
When I last used it, I couldn't easily view a post and see all the replies or a threaded subset.
There was no easy way to view uploaded media and their respective posts.
I can't remember if they implemented view followers/follows/likes/whatever.
It's a shitshow. Genuine Nazis (nominally people with extremely high standards) if they existed would consider this a poor effort for a midterm project in a class on web dev.
How hard is it to write a web front end for database queries in a reasonably scalable language (not php)?
