I think that's an act mostly, I mean the kid did online high school at home for senior year to avoid other kids. and put on like 40 lbs binge eating (I know that they lost the weight later, but still). Jazz is very entitled, I don't know what they're going to do next but I'm guessing it's not going to go well. I'm predicting a failed music career.

I don't know how I feel about Jazz. Anyone who impulsively gets their dick cut off at seventeen can't be that sure about what they want. I don't hate the kid or anything like that but Jazz gets up on his high horse a lot and makes everything about how trans he is. I think he's honestly a very troubled and anxious person, especially when he binge-eats like crazy and can't so much as go to school without freaking out. I feel bad for Jazz mostly. Even if he is legitimately transgender, then he should have waited much longer before he made such a huge-ass physical decision. It's not going to end happily.

I'm on a hormone blocker for medical reasons that have nothing to do with being transgender. Believe me, you don't want to be on these drugs unless you have to, and I was about 95% of the way through menopause when I started.

The one person I have known personally who was transgendered (that I know of) was a high school classmate who was featured on a Discovery Health Channel program in the early 00s called "Changing Sexes." This person was f-to-m, and when he held up his HS graduation picture, I nearly fell off the couch. I had ABSOLUTELY.NO.IDEA that this cute girl who always had perfect hair, makeup, and clothes was fighting such a horrible secret battle. I also have an acquaintance whose young adult son (whom I've never met) is transitioning, something that was a complete shock to both her and his father, with whom he lives (they're divorced) but she says that now that he's living as a woman, he is MUCH happier. IDK if s/he's on hormones, etc.; I will let her tell me what she wants me to know.

For crying out loud. No, psychological evaluation can and is a part of cissy surgeries too. It’s regomented when doing any larger cosmetic surgery like boob or nose job to ensure that people have realistic idea of results and that their reasons for surgery are mentally sound (dr Phil used to do this as a job before tv). Generally any elective surgery with possibly large consequences will involve some sort of a mental condition survey to find out if the surgery will improve the person’s life, have no effect or just help destroy it. Does this person really think that doctors will for example cut away a handicapped person’s legs so that they might be able to walk with leg implants without psychological assessment? Also in many more medical surgeries age alone is a factor if doctors will or won’t do a surgery. For example breast reduction surgery isn’t recommended till age of 21 to avoid issues from boobs being in active growing stage. Seriously trannies aren’t special in this regard at all.

I used to work at a hospital that did bariatric surgery. A psychiatric evaluation is required, among other things, and THIS was the most common reason why a patient was rejected. The surgeon sometimes even refused to operate on patients even after the insurance company gave the green light, if he didn't think the person was a good candidate. And this doesn't have the consequences that gender reassignment does!

Isn't a mother faking or otherwise staging a child's mental illness just called Munchhausen-By-Proxy, not stunning and brave? Maybe they actually screw with their heads to the point they actually do up 'confused' - although none of them seem to have experienced dysphoria for the most part which as far as I know has to have been present for a notable period of time and caused significant distress to legitimise the claim of being born in the wrong gender, not just because you feel really strongly about it and have never had to experience any of that because you've effectively been allowed to skip the checkbox for the whole shebang. How can a child have such intense gender dysphoria when they don't understand or perceive gender or the complexities of being either or as an adult? I don't think they can.

I mean, even if you were to base it off if competency you're expecting a child to both understand the risks and challenges associated with transitioning when their brain isn't even fully developed. I can imagine these parents are the kind of people that threaten to call the news or their lawyer or their Facebook 'support group' anytime their child is denied some kind of treatment or desired outcome by competent medical professionals.

Either way, the Jazz thing is kinda eeeeeh, I agree, pretty entitled but when mommy has fought all of your outward battles for you I'm not really surprised.

I think I've hit the jackpot on crazy parents who are not only transitioning, but denying their kid his own gender.

Star-Cloud on the other hand is something I wish I could unsee, that child is probably going to either have an awful, very public life in Middlesborough (I'm pretty close to it and it's rough as shit for the most part) or he's going to be whisked away from the world and end up as entitled as Jazz. Here's one for you: this crazy mom is apparently some kind of gynecologist for transpeople, and she claims her kid came out as trans to her before the kid could even speak. Because she is a doctor to trannies, she can trans the kid herself! She has her very own human Frankenstein science experiment and is posting about it on the Transgender Health facebook page, formerly known as the WPATH facebook page (World Professional Association for Transgender Health). Apparently WPATH removed their association with this FB page because of all the degeneracy going on there, although it seems they removed mainly because it looks bad on them, not because their organization necessarily disagrees with the abuse and poor judgment going on by its members.

Getting injections/pills with high doses of sex hormones your body isn't made to produce in such a high amount ISN'T PUBERTY.

Male humans NEED testosterone and just a bit of estrogen and for women it's the opposite. You can't inject opposite sex hormones into children and expect the same results as normal puberty. That's not possible because sexual dimorphism is a thing.

These people seem to think the secondary sex characteristics are puberty, despite the word "secondary" being in the name. It's so dumb. Each body has a maximum of one potential puberty. Skipping it with drugs never replaces the fertility that puberty provides.

Hmm yeah I think so too. It doesn't change much in the eyes of men. A straight man would never date/sleep with someone obviously tranny, and I think the chances of one doing it with a passing post op are still incredibly small if they do know they're trans. Most people that date trans are bisexual so that's why that doesn't really bother them.
