It's legitimately true that when it comes to secondary sexual characteristics, humans are not incredibly sexually dimorphic. Compare us to, say, peacocks. There's countries where the average female height is taller than other countries' average male height. But when it comes to primary sexual characteristics, there's a very clear distinction.

I think it’s more likely that toddlers play with their genitalia like their private body parts are just another toy. To them their bodies are still new and it’s functions mysterious. I have seen a baby get scared by his own hiccups. Privates are more often than not hidden by clothing and diapers so when kids gets actually see and touch their junk, it can be fun just because of novelity. Plus there is pee, farts and parents’ reactions to bodily functions, that’s plenty to entertain a toddler.

Also, being aware of their own genitals =/= being aware of sexual dimorphism. For vast majority of kids, the only distinction between girls and boys are things like long hair, clothing, names etc. Difference in genitalia is something that most kids figure out in their late childhood (8-12).

I'm naive with this kind of thing, I just assumed trannies did their thing on their own, it didn't occur to me that people out there would be encouraging children to illegally buy drugs which could seriously damage their health, and to run away from home if they were caught

The former group you’re describing kinda resembles what troons call “truscum”: older transsexuals who transitioned decades ago and understand the costs. Think Renee Richards or Miranda Yardley. Truscum on the whole are much more accepting about acknowledging their natal sex. They are seen as heretics on the level of terves to the troon community because truscum advocate for much more rigorous diagnostic gatekeeping and are largely against the medical transitioning of children.

So yeah, their voices aren’t heard much. Both Yardley and Jenn Smith are two writers that discuss this silencing at length in their work.

They're six months post SRS and it destroyed their sex drive completely, and they're also only 2 years on hormones--that's a really fast turn around time for getting SRS. They also have OCD.
