Ugh! Not to get sidetracked, but here is the base reason for that.
The Askenazi Jews on average do seem to have a higher IQ. But there is kind of an observable reason for this. For almost 2000 years at least in Europe they were denied land ownership, which for most of history was the guarantee of sufficiency and prosperity. The result was that the only way that a Jewish man could support his family was through specialized skills. Generally clerical, legal, accounting and tinkering. Things that were looked down upon by the landowners and nobility but at the same time were things of necessity. The Jews like all populations unintentionally breed for success. The Chads get to breed more. In the case of the European Jews it was the Nerds who got the girls because they were getting paid for their services and could afford the best dowry's etc. So the Jews started unintentionally self selecting for intelligence as opposed to physical strength, speed or any of the other more commonly selected positive traits. At a time when Brawn largely ruled the world the Jews were forced to select for Brains. As brains were the only ways for a Jew to reliably put food on the table. A couple of centuries of this and you start to see some observable outcomes in the population group. In much the same way that all of the fastest runners in the world all seemingly come from one tribal group in Kenya.
As much as the Race Realists are complete bastards who tend to corrupt things for their own foul purposes, they almost have one thing right. Race does ultimately have some meaning. Race is by definition human variants that have been evolved to adapt over long times for differing environments or conditions. The Askenazi Jews are a rare example of a human adaption to extended social conditions as opposed to environmental.
