Eh. The industry....Funi in particular, just reeks of exclusive white/white passing members only club

Actually, now that you mention it, very few people who worked at Funimation are non-white. Do any black people work there? Even Jalen K. Cassell, a young black anime voice actor, hasn't done anything that is exclusive to Funimation, from what I can tell. Correct me if I'm wrong.

DC is sperging out about the Okay hand sign:

Here's a fun fact, I recognize Switchpoint from a couple livestreams from Comicsgate spergs (I LOVE COMICS / Englentine's). He's a bisexual Lebanese Canadian iirc:

What is she sperging about?

Other than her talking to a sock account that looks very suspect (it looks like a false flag imo) about a charity she did, I see nothing worth archiving.

EDIT:
Ok, I see it now. She is acting smug af:

EDIT 2:
Vid about the charity:

God, Douglas is a fucking retard. Unbelievable. It's so insane how a fucking okay hand sign has been turned into a fucking racial thing by these fucking progressive turds. Absolutely astonishing.

And look at the video of the Hurricane Harvey charity that she released. Chris Sabat wants to talk about Vic being a convincing actor? Look at Monica talking about her red eyes and tear-filled face when no tears and no red eyes are present in the video.

Yea, Apostle. I am smelling the roses. The roses in Ty Beard's front lawn.

Archive her tweets so Nick can see this absolute amentia.

There's a bunch. I remember there being some short lived hullabaloo when Ancient Magus' Bride came out since Chise's voice actress, Dani Chambers, is black. And while she did a very good job and I'm glad that her first role was a pretty big one, to this day I still scratch my head about the people praising Funimation for casting her. It's not like she went full on ebonics or anything, she just spoke in a Standard American Accent.

There's a handful of Asian people there, too.

Alright, that's one black person. But they are Crunchyroll-Funimation partnerships as opposed to Funimation exclusivity. And yea, I was sure that Asians were there too, although not in big numbers. That's why I didn't say that all of them were white. Samantha Inoue-Harte is Asian, yes?

I'm not saying any of this is an issue whatsoever, it's just something to say in response.

Funimation seems to bring in black VAs on the rare occasions they actually need them. Dean Redman did the voice of Dutch in Black Lagoon.

...and apparently nothing else in anime.

You'd have to be a really exceptional to lose your shit over the fact there aren't many black VAs in anime that get consistent work. It's fucking anime. Black anime characters are pretty rare as a whole.

Not that people won't be that exceptional in the name of diversity above everything.

Also, Brina Palencia is Honduran for whatever that's worth.

Black Lagoon was handled by Ocean Group in Canada, not Funi.
