Because their community is built upon lies. To acknowledge that they got fucked over by a charity of all things would cause the entire system to crumble. They're willfully blind in the interest of keeping the illusion they're actually happy by making their gender identification the sole crux of their identity. Whereas actual trans people just want to live a normal life and aren't so screechy or straight up mean.

This was funny... Greta got her ass booted from the FB group "Transgender Herb Community". She claims that she was not her usual belligerent self and that she was booted for her Trans Lifeline... issues. Who knows? After kicking her out, the group seems to have gone hidden for a while, which is a smart move as Greta is already rallying her minions to get her reinstated. I don't know, honestly... she says she played nice, but I have a hard time believing this.

Keep in mind: nearly ALL the awful interactions we see her involved with have been arguments and fights WITH the trans community! The effort to stab Null was a rarity, an occasion where she actually went after someone ideologically different than her. Usually her screencapped fights are with people on the LGBTQWERTY++ spectrum, not with actual conservatives or transphobes. I have even seen her a few times in the wild posting on threads with more moderate LGBT types and she is usually on much better behavior when confronted with people who aren't as far down the hardline troon rabbit hole. She mostly prefers to take dumps on fellow troons.

Her story seems to change here: "transwomen are disposable" becomes "I was kicked out for TLL" a day later. What are the odds that a group called "Transgender Herb Community" is dominated by MTFs versus FTMS? In other words, she was kicked out most likely by fellow MTFs who mod the group, so I don't think that "transmisogyny" is a full explanation. I like the "she was kicked out for TLL" answer, but I guess I have a hard time believing that considering the kid gloves with which the Trans community usually handles her.

Why am I absolutely not surprised that MtF-centric online groups engage in the utterly male pattern of establishing dominance as much (probably even more) than any other online or offline group, trans or not? And now that Greta is no longer founder and ruler of TLL, he's got no social clout anymore and even a shitty online mod ranks above him in the male hierarchy sigh it seems Kjel is having a hard time adjusting.

Also I will never understand people whose favorite forms of communication are through Facebook or Twitter - platforms which deliberately cripple the user experience and literally have less standards for usability than a 90s IRC client when it comes to online exchanges.

I love that very last message too: "how dare this motherfucker judge me for criminally stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars that were supposed to go instead into saving lives in the trans community REEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" If I was a therapist, it could even be a bigger projection...

Greta is a classic "broken stair." Even if it's not kosher to flat out call out another troon in front of the normies, they know what Greta is and they don't want him around.

How the mighty have fallen if Greta's actually responding to Richard (Terra). For a long time Greta was able to more or less ignore the lesser troons, although he would occasionally bless some like Phil with a very short or emoji-only reply. But to hold what is tantamount to an entire conversation with the lowest of the low? Greta's hurting for allies.

“Conflict” with TLL. Nice way to say you embezzled more than a quarter of a million dollars.

If someone who abused trans people wanted into a trans club, and got pissed when they were denied, Greta would freak on them. But now that Greta’s the abuser getting blocked from the community, it’s the community’s fault.

I think this person meant the below as a question? And, since TLL has narrowed their call-takers down to 1) trans only 2) people only comfortable with a "no active rescue" policy, OF COURSE, they do not have bilingual operators on call most of the time. So woke!

This one is a little old, but I never saw it until now. This person tried to raise $5000 to fight Jesse Singal and if they raised the money, but Jesse refused to accept, they would donate to TLL. They only raised around $500. Also what could Jesse possibly gain from this? Either he legit gets his ass kicked in front of a mob of blood-crazed MTF troons OR he wins the fight and gets defamed all over the Internet as a violent assailant of trans women for money. The money isn't worth it.
